Updated: Hagee Chapter Rewrite Bogus

Dr. Michael Brown terms Hagee rewrite “cosmetic” and “not what was expected”.
In a phone call inquiry to the ministry offices of Dr. Michael Brown yesterday we verified the facts surrounding Dr. Brown’s criticism of statements made in the book “In Defense of Israel”.
As reported previously, Dr. Brown has authored a paper reproving Hagee on the theologically abberant doctrines contained in the tenth chapter of the book and presented it to Hagee for response. Under pressure from many within the Evangelical community, Hagee apparently agreed to rewrite only that chapter, to appear in a new edition. Hagee had requested that Michael Brown withhold circulation of the paper until he was in receipt of the new chapter.
As of Thursday afternoon, December 6, Dr. Brown had received the manuscript, flown in from Texas, reviewed the document, and concluded that the rewrite is “not what was expected”, terming it “cosmetic”. According to the source at Michael Brown’s ministry, it is expected that Dr. Brown will release his paper—Threshing Floor has requested a copy of the text, and to be updated on any further developments.

With all my heart I am begging you to not purchase a copy of this book or any other book this man has ever written, knowing you are lining the pockets of one operating in the spirit of antichrist,: and to also have no dealings whatsoever with this man or his causes, that includes his political network CUFI. Good faithful ministries like the Threshing Floor, and others [Apprising Ministries, True Discernment, etc. to name a few) will find out what these supposed cosmetic changes are and report on them. I cannot begin to fathom the money this man has made in book sales already off of the controversy this book has brought about–this ‘editing’ is just another way to get your money.

Earlier tonight i posted a comment on another blog in which a Hagee supporter who attends Cornerstone Church was, in his defense of Hagee, parroting the same false ideas as this book contains:
I replied in short;
Blood will be found upon the hands of those who have the opportunity, as these people do, and refuse, REFUSE to tell the lost of Jesus–whether they are Jews or Gentiles. And especially on the hands of those like John Hagee who are teaching others that all they have to do is love and support people, and with-hold the truth from them.
They have allowed their misguided views of Eschatology to convince them there is no need to preach the gospel to a specific race of people. I find that frightening.
This satanic liar Hagee must be exposed. May God bless Dr. Michael Brown and PJ for their yeoman efforts to protect Christianity from deception.
