Paganism: Ekstasis Worship
Milinda posted a comment this evening under the post, “EXTREME” and Dangerous Teachings.. on the practice of Ekstasis Worship. Never heard of it? Then you need to watch an example of this type of so-called worship I found at GodTube.
This is pure paganism folks…Ask yourself this: while watching and listening to this are you thinking about Worshiping God or Jesus…is your mind on Things Holy, and pure…or are you “feeling” or sensing something else all-together?
The voice you’ll hear all through out this 6 minute clip, urging the “worshipers” on at this Baptist Church in Ohio, is the one and only queen of strange and paganistic practices, Patrica King, from Extreme Prophetic ministry: the DJ is “DJ Caleb” who also goes by the name Love Warrior.

It seems to have started at a unitarian universlist church back in 2002, This pastor was at one time a pentacostal who became a unitarian.from one of the articles I read about him. So it seems that this Caleb is borrowing from their rave worship services. We do know that it’s roots are pagan and this type of dancing was used to worship the gods of the pagan society. Just from reading the info on the internet this type of trance dancing seems to open people up to encounters with spirit beings. Whom they will believe to be Jesus or angels if they consider themsevles christian. I just don’t understand that which is called the church today.

Must say i was shocked when watching that video at GodTube Milinda…and it was shot at a Baptist Church!
My oldest son stopped by today and i showed it to him…after less then a minute he told me to turn it off….said it reminded him too much of his old life style before coming to Christ.
When watching it, it made me think of the children of Israel dancing around the golden calf…
I agree whole-heartedly. Its inviting demons. When they are invited you better believe they’ll show up…
I just think we have all lost the purpose in our christian life.

as a Indian from India if i think any music other that my Indian folk music is demonic what would you guys say.
And also if someone from India says that wearing pants/trousers is demonic what would you say.

Then where stands the native american music, Traditional Indian music, chinese music, afriacan music etc.
We got to understand that satan doesnot own anything.He has just taken the talents that he has and used it to meet his end.
We christains got to rise up and understand who we are in Christ Jesus and claim back what the devil has stolen.praise God the body of chirst is beginning to understand this and taking back their position in the church,family, media, politics, business etc. I beleive if the church was not sleeping in the 70’s and the 80’s we could have had a great revival in the christain rock music front instead we spoke against this genre of music and satan made use of this genre to bring out his version of devilish rock and roll and drew many people after him.What if the chruch used this genre we could have saved so many souls instead we just bowed down to the tricks of satan.
Oh church rise up – rise up take your stand plunder the devil.
The Church needs to be forerunners in every aspect of life on the earth and it is God’s will for that.2008 is the year of the new beginnings and i believe it is the year the church of Jesus Christ is going to be forerunners and glorify the name of Jesus Christ on the earth.Let us ask the Holy Spirit to work instead of boxing HIM in.

We know music is a gift from God to mankind..and like anything which God gives us, satan will try to usurp it and/or counterfeit it–that includes music.
I love all types of music–and enjoy listening to music from other cultures; but the music in the above clip, which is supposedly Godly praise, is dangerous in my humble opinion.
It even appears in the clip to invoke pagan-like movements/dancing–and the music itself is the same music which is played at Rave concerts in the US.
When im listening to some type of music which claims to be praise music to our God, and it instead produces fleshly sensations, to me it is not Godly.

If your rave is wrong then what about chinese Christian music, what about traditional christian music from India – if you hear it i guess you will say this straight out of hell.

To me Jesus Christ is God but to reach out to a Indian with music you will have to do it the Indian way and if we try to do it the country western, soft rock, traditional gospel way it will be considered paganistic.
I all humbleness i am not try to pin you down.I feel instead of being full of the negative we should just be full of the positive of Jesus Christ so that He reigns in the praise that we give him.I am not saying you should not plunder the devil we are called to expose the devil.But i believe when we start to give praise to Jesus Christ in everything that we do we become instruments of his Glorious presence and this is enough because when the light shines darkness cannot prevail it just fades away.
I believe when we are so tuned to the Holy Spirit we will just want to do what he likes.
Jesus is not a Jewish, american, or a Indian God, He is God and He created this multi faced world and His principals are the same but the strategies differ from time to time and country to country, language to language.
I have just heard about this as well, my friend sent me a video on YouTube about Patricia King and this “new” way of dancing to praise God…I did some research and found out this is “kundalini” which is from the Hindu religion, and that Kundalini actually believe that there is a “goddess” or “coiled serpent” at the bottom of the spine…the Western meaning is “Serpent Power”…just google it and you will be amazed at what you find! A serpent is how Satan appeared to Eve in the garden, we really need to research what we are getting into before just jumping in there!

I do understand your point
But you should be very careful before you bring an point against the body of Christ
I am an Indian i do understand yoga
From what you guys have raised i request you to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit.When you do so you will undstand the move of God.
I believe the church of christ Jesus needs to walk back in its calling of operating in the supernatural.
The world is starved of the supernatural, today you have people flocking to these mediums becasue the Christ of Jesus Christ does not have the answer to them.I believe if the church of Jesus Christ walks in the way God wants them to walk – signs , wonders, healing, winning souls, there would be more souls won for Jesus Christ.
I believe the answer to revival is the desperation for the Presence of God.
So i could encourage you instead of pointing you finger at somebody, something and some move you should start doing things yourself.
- bring out a praise and worship music that will bring in the presence of God
- ask God to start a revival thru you.
- walk in the signs, wonders,miracles as mentioned in the bible ( acts 5 )
The above will be better for you
Instead of wasting time condemning people and moves of God.
Becasue only that which is true will stand.
The time you take to study and point your finger at somebody you could win a lot of souls.
You could go to north africa , India, china, Burma, middle east as a missionary and bring Glory to God by winning souls.
So my humble request to you is to walk as Jesus walked.
