Over the past few years I’ve heard a few Christians talk about this. Did I want to believe it? Not really. But somewhere inside I sensed it might be a possibility. This evening I was browsing around reading, and came upon a couple items which may indeed point to an even sharper division coming to the body of Christ very soon.
One item was at GCMWatch: Are you ready for persecution at the hands of gay activists?, another was at Independent Conservative: Legal Persecution of Christians in the West Has Begun
Persecution is going to bring about a lot more then I believe we are prepared for. Its not only going to be persecution from the world we will be facing, as the two articles above point out, but persecution from those we may call ‘brother’ or ‘sister’ today, and whom we attend Church with every week. At the rate compromising is happening, we just can’t know.
Many today who have already fallen away from the word of God, and who are instead following after men and new movements, experiences, and ‘new revelations’, are deceived. Some already have and many more will join them in compromising the faith. I believe we should be prepared for this to happen: for they may look upon those who still stand upon Bible truth, uncompromisingly, as an enemy. I say that because of the next link…

This war became blatantly obvious to me when I began building this website. In investigating people who were given face to face visitations by Jesus Christ, I saw a clear and organized effort to discredit them. So much slander was in place, that anyone investigating these people would most likely be turned away before they ever knew their testimony.
For example, in doing a simple Goggle search on Rick Joyner, 4 of the top 5 results were negative, 3 were blatantly accusational. “Dangerous teacher”, “Self-proclaimed Prophet”, “False teacher”, “a man in the grip of evil deceit”, “the spirit of darkness and deception”, “Most unsound and dangerous teachers”, etc. Similar accusation have been made against many of the people shown on this site…
- (who are the people promoted on this site? Rick Joyner, Bob Jones, Patrica King, Todd Bentley, Francis Frangipane, Chuck Pierce, Kim Clement, to name a few…all those who are into extra biblical teachings, false prophecy’s, etc…)
Recently many attacks have come against Todd Bentley and the Florida Healing Outpouring revival….
This army has been used against every advancement in the Church. The Protestant Reformation, Evangelical revolution, Pentecostal, Charismatic, Prophetic, Apostolic, Spiritual Gifts, Healings, Signs, etc. We can no longer just sit back and assume that this army is just a group of concerned Christians with disagreements.
We must…
Counter them in the media, on the web, in blogs, etc,
Pray that their influence would diminish,
Confront them with the truth,
Bring to light those things they are trying to discredit and slander
Pray that their accusations would not spread, but be rejected
Intercede for their freedom & pray that the Lord’s (redemptive) judgments would bring them back. (not wrathful judgment)…

Do you see what this really is…its a cry for war on discernment and Truth! No longer is it perceived as being correct and necessary to biblically test the spirits to see if they be of God…and no longer are we to examine, by the word of God, teachings, prophecy, manifestations, or signs and wonders. No. What we are being told to do is accept it all without question–for if we don’t, according to this website, we are an enemy.
He ends with this:

Pray folks, don’t ever give into this false belief which encourages the people of God to accept any and everything without obeying the word of God by testing it first. Jesus warned more then once when speaking to the disciples concerning the end days, to; “Be not deceived” Matthew 24. And pray for all the Church Jesus gave his very life for. God can open the eyes of even the deceived–we know that because he opened our eyes one day when we were still lost and undone without God. Nothing is impossible for God.

The more I read your postings the more I believe that you are witnessing more than you can possibly realize. The one thing that bothers me about Todd Bentley is his “if it is not in the Bible then It doesn’t meant that it is outside of what God can do”. I have listed his link to his “explanation of defense” below.
The Bible is of GOD directly, look at the the first line in John. WE CANNOT MOVE AWAY FROM WHAT THE WORD SAYS.
We, as true believers in the Yeshua, Jesus must understand that we are be in the WORD and in HIS presence.
When this revival first started I was so excited…I wanted this to be of God. This nation needs it! But the colors, the truth of Todd was not one of Jesus.
I posed the question of what fruit it bears. Well, even demons can remove an infirmity (demons casting out demons) but they replace it with a deeper seeded issue.
Please pray. These last days are scary. If you are constantly questioning, then you are of God and God is FAITHFUL to reveal His truth to you. Be in the word and in prayer.
But I warn you, do not be so cautious not to worship or believe that there are gifts of the spirit of God at work on the earth through people. But TEST everything, pray unceasingly.

I know Todd feels good and sounds good and we all long for Revival. We are sensual by nature but Jesus has order. I am charismatic, but Biblically so…. meaning Corinthians. I am a Biblical Pentecostal…the gifts of the Spirit are REAL but in God’s definition as explained in the WORD. My goodness….what division this brings to people with Todd. The Devil is laughing and loving this.

I don’t get it. If it is wrong to accuse and to slander as this guy puts it, and to name names, then why is he accusing and slandering and naming names – albiet of the watchdog ministries? He is a total hypocrit, no? Isn’t he being divisive and unloving by his own warped theology?

Yes me too Holly. The only consolation is this may awaken us from our slumber now, to really pray for a God sent reviving of the body of Christ. Our Lord is wonderful in how he can take the bad and turn it around for good. If all of this happening at Lakeland [and elsewhere] doesn’t wake us up, i don’t know what will..

PLUS this surge in ‘signs and wonders’ trips to heaven, portals, on and on and on…..

Actually, read all of Revelation 13 when you get a chance. Verses 1-10 describe what people usually call the antichrist. The rest of the chapter describes what people usually call the false prophet. Hey, what do you know, the false prophet can do wonders and miracles! Does it make you think that looking for a seeming religious person who can do signs and wonders is a good thing?
Up to 1930, all of Christendom, Catholic, protestant, orthodox, nondenominational, etc, all stood together in their condemnation of artificial birth control as sinful. This is important, as it impacts the rest of sexual morality.
Now today, the Catholic Church stands alone in its condemnation of artificial birth control as a sin.
Did the Bible change? Of course not. People’s interpretation of it did.
This widespread acceptance of artificial birth control led to acceptance of abortion, easy divorces, divorce and remarriage, and from this, acceptance of the homosexual lifestyle – hey, if heterosexuals can artificially make themselves closed to new life, why not accept a lifestyle that is naturally closed to new life? We’ve seen how the churches all accepted all of this secular nonsense in the sexual morals.
I shudder to think of what else will be acceptable. Gays can now marry. Can you imagine the impact on society when people can marry children? animals? their cars? How low will secular society go? Satan has no basement, except hell.
We must return to pre-1930′s Christianity. We must reject the Culture of death. We must reject relativism. We must be a light to the world, which prefers to stay in its darkness.
We must stand firm to what we used to stand firm on – the Gospel, the Truth, the Way.
If the Christian Church won’t stand for Truth, WHO WILL? Muslims?

We must stand for Truth. Those who do not, will have their lampstands taken away from them. Look at the 7 churches in the book of revelation. Today, ALL SEVEN CITIES ARE NO LONGER CHRISTIAN.
