I wish we could find more people to preach the truth of God’s word like this!

God Bless you PJ for providing us with these things.

I sit and listen to Truth from men like Conlon, and Wilkerson… I too love to hear R.C Sproul and Piper.

I have to attribute this to the Holy Ghost knowing I have a need to hear what is being said.

In the church where I attend it is mostly filled with what they believe to be of faithful service unto God. They for the most part feel that they have received much with the five to ten minute message. The rest of the time it is filled with the agenda and praises for those 20% who do 80% of the work. I am not sure what happens to the other 20% of the work… maybe it is filled up with that 80% congregation. Overall, I find myself correcting on paper what I hear, dry to the bone on messages, blank stares at the stories, crossed eyed at the sports illustrated metaphors, not moving toward the altar, walking out when I am frustrated, but overall enjoy spending time with mom on Sunday.

I keep telling myself that is it because I desire so richly to blessed with the Word of Truth/Jesus. could be why the Holy Ghost leads me to listen to men like these who have been CALLED by God to PREACH THE TRUTH.

With all my heart I do believe the ONLY SHEPHERD is Jesus and His Own Know HIS VOICE and follow HIM.

Thanking our Lord and KING Jesus for this message.

    One other thing:

a true servant works hard in the feild for His master throughout the day.

when he (the servant) comes in from a hard days work, the master of the servant doesn’t say: oh, you sit here and I will make you dinner. No, he will say: get me my dinner and after I eat you may have yours.

The true servant knows he is a servant. This is his duty. He obeys his master. He is not after what can his master do for him, or what reward does my master have for me. A true servant doesn’t expect a reward… he is not expecting a return unto himself… nor shall any glory be given unto him. For the true servant gives or esteems the Master above himself.

wonder if the small 20% unaccounted for are those servants who work out in the field and aren’t recognized. they are the ones hidden in God and show forth no effort to be praised or given a profit.
