You may recall this ladies husband, Georgian Banov, who participated in the commissioning of Todd Bentley at Lakeland  back in June.

These deluded people believe this is Holy Spirit produced “Ecstasy”.

I also received notice today, of ‘mystic’ John Crowder’s new book coming out in December: The Ecstasy of Loving God.

    I could only tolerate just two minutes of the embarrassing behavior of this woman at the pulpit. It was utterly disgraceful to see this as an example of what the church in America is like.

    I could only watch for a minute and a half. This has brought great disagreement with friends I love dearly. Very sad. I just have to remember how faithful the Lord Jesus has been to continue to guide me into truth and keep praying for others.

    Sick sick sick people. I believe you can see Ben Dunn holding a video camera in the background when this starts, so not surprising. There is someone laughing that to me sounds like demonic activity.

    I am sorry but I barely made it past the two minute marker too. The Church is in a drunken state all right if they fall for this. I would think the chapter headings in Crowder’s book would be a giveaway? I know I keep asking this but how can people be this deceived? I cannot wrap my brain around it!

    I’m sorry, but I get so angry when I watch this insanity. I also couldn’t get through more than 2 minutes of this before my blood was boiling and I had to shut it off!!!!

    Reading your comment reminded me of a video clip i watched tonight.

    Take heart friend,…it seems we’ve entered into a time when by standing on God’s word, we’re going to be looked at as troublemakers–even by friends [and possibly family members] who are falling into deception.

    All we can do is to continue to pray for those we love who have fallen into deception, always continuing in hope that they will have their eyes opened.

    The world is filled with self described prophets. People who think they know it all and allegedly fight for the truth. They wrap themselves up in righteousness but never realize just how utterly foolish they truly are. You don’t have to be a raving Todd Bentley to be a fool, and that is what disturbs me the most. You see, just because you are deceived doesn’t mean that what you are doing or saying is strictly benefiting the devil. Sometimes people are just wrong. Sometimes people are simply lost. Sometimes there is no real plan in their madness, just the despair of realizing that all your Holiness is but dung.

    NLN,

    Keep trusting! Jesus can open the eyes of your friends also and I just try to remember that and keep my confidence and comfort in him. Because of this sort of thing there are a few people not to happy with me and my family at my church. Some people in these last days will enjoy their deception and turn from truth. I have given my thoughts and prayers concerning these folks to Jesus. He can handle it I keep reminding myself.

    Lord come soon! How true that “a little leaven leavens the lump” because when these heresies began they were as small as a grain of yeast in the dough, but they have corrupted the whole batch and are now as prominent and foul as a garbage can with the lid off. Speaking as one Troublemaker to another, I’m grateful God gave me a spirit of troublemaking!!! Let’s hold up our heads, look upwards and resist the devil to the End.

    Oh come on! This is one of the most ridiculous mockeries of preaching I’ve seen yet. Crude and stupid are not even strong enough words to describe this mess. It’s bad enough that this “preaching” is done in America…what makes me so mad is the woman behind her has to translate it into another language.

    Yeah, the last time I saw someone behaving like this…they were put on antipsychotics….sometimes they get a diagnosis of schizophrenia…sometimes bipolar mania…sometimes drug induced psychosis.

    Makes you wonder what is really wrong with the folks we so readily put on psych meds…

    as i watched this clip my sadness grew and grew. i am one that has children that are “in” this stuff – it has separated our family and caused great grief and sorrow. as i read NLN’s comments about her friends all i could think of was how well i knew this “place” she is in. we have lost friends as well as my son and daughter in law because of our stand on NAR, lakeland, bentley, king, crowder, etc. etc. etc. we had to step completely away from the church we had been in for almost 10 years. we were in great deception ourselves but HIS wonderful grace and mercy has set us free. i’m going to go watch the clip you recommended about the troublemakers. perhaps it will help – my heart is so heavy. thank you.

    I’m praying for you, Deborah Jacobs. When you see truth and those you love are blind to it and disagreement and division is the result it is very sad. There is a true loss involved. May our Lord Jesus help and strengthen you as you walk through this time.
    After I’m done crying my heart out to the Lord, I try and remind myself that He loves them more than I do and He hears my prayers. I also remember His wonderful mercy and grace in setting me free as you do to encourage myself that “IT AIN’T OVER YET!”
    May you know the comfort of the Lord today.

    I had to take a break from watching these videos after recovering from Bentley. Seeing this anew made me wonder so many things. What could possibly make a person act like this? Is the Devil this blatenly obvious? I would think even he would be a little more subtle. Let’s say we were in a secular setting, such as a work banquet or something…If a woman got on stage and began acting this way, someone would wrap this looney-bird in a blaket and quickly whisk her from public site, yet in a church..A CHURCH…HOLY GROUND, she is allowed to continue and even encouraged?!? How long, Oh Lord, How long?

    These people cause me to grieve so deeply.

    NLN, Mrs. Bucket and Deborah, I too have had to make hard decisions with my Christian friends as well. It hurts so deeply. I do a nursing home ministry that I absolutely love with my best friend and her husband. They came to the nursing home after Lakeland started up and told me how when they looked at Todd Bentley, they saw absolute purity and innocence on his face. I told them that I did not feel that his teaching was biblical. As time went on I pointed out the warnings signs which finally came to a confrontation which ended our friendship and I have had to make the choice to give up the ministry that I love. I pray for them everyday and I long to have my ministry back, but I was the outcast and the judgemental one. I’m sure each of us has a story like this and it saddens me to my core. Nothing hurts more that being rejected by the church.

    Thanks be to the Holy Spirit to lead me to PJ’s little church on the internet. Church here is 7days a week and I felt so relieved to find so many different Christians who love to place the word of Christ in their hearts and encourage each other to keep pursuing God in the face of rejection. When you feel the pain of rejection, know that our Savior was rejected even more.

    I had to watch the video in short bursts. It made me feel so frustrated that I had to keep hitting pause. All I can say is, there is no excuse for this sort of behavior being attributed to the Holy Spirit. Most of you know that I was brought up in an old, old timey church. Gettin happy, rejoicing, and shouting were common occurrences when the meeting was particularly good. – usually when someone was saved. I have never seen anyone act as if they were drunk or high. And no one lost utter control of themselves.
    I have to admit (though I am a bit ashamed to tell this story) that I have witnessed this type of behavior once when I was in high school. There was a girl I knew who, if you told her you put rum in her coke, she would think she was drunk, and act accordingly. One time we wrapped some oregano up like a “doobie” and passed it around and smoked it with her. We did this just to watch her. And voila! She acted exactly like the lady in this video. I’ve always felt badly about doing this, and I got the biggest headache from it so I cannot recommend oregano for smoking. lol. But I have never forgotten this either.

    You brought up a good point.

    I think a lot of this stuff we see in these videos are actions of the flesh…just like the girl you mentioned. While its true some of it are the actions of unclean spirits [like the recent one posted of the young woman at a Rick Joyner meeting] some of this is just plain phony…its mockery.

    I’ve been in the same kind of little churches for 28 years…i know what you mean Lisa. I wouldn’t want to be any-where else…

    People like you and others who have witnessed the real manifestations of God’s Holy Spirit, in my opinion, can easier spot the false.

    How about being rejected by the Savior??!!

    I was encouraged by your post, and others, who have had to make the stand for TRUTH over heresy. It’s exactly, I presume, because of your love for the Savior that enables you to make these “hard” stands with friends and family. I was encouraged by you, and others, who had enough conviction to sacrifice a physical relationship to preserve your spiritual relationship with Christ. May we all have the faith and strength to not cave in to the apostasy and heresy running rampant in “Christianity” today–even if we have to stand opposed to loved ones and friends. Thanks for sharing and strengthening my faith.

    THIS VIDEO IS DISGUSTING…

    I too, have been in the Pentecostal church most of my life and I have never seen behavior like this. While I realize that “where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty…”, I also realize that where His Spirit is, there is order. The Bible is clear that all things are to be done decent and in order. This is the complete opposite of Holy Ghost order and it in no way glorifies God only flesh therefore it is useless and this type of behavior will be rejected by God’s true elect. I hate to be harsh, but I remember a scripture toward the end of Daniel that tells us clearly that “the wicked will continue to do wicked, and none of them shall understand.” The point is that we all (i am referring to Christians here) have a choice whether or not we will be deceived. If we are in Christ satan cannot deceive us unless we allow him to by not staying full of God’s word which is our “spiritual sword” that keeps us from the deception of these kinds of seducing spirits. We are warned that in the last days that many people would depart from the faith and heap up for themselves these types of teachers that will cause those who are not grounded in the word of God to fall away and be lost. It is harsh but still the truth, but it greives my spirit and reminds me why we must daily examine ourselves that we be in the faith. This video really hits home and shows just how rampant deception is running thoughout the end-time church, proof that when the Bible is neglected and we stop “seeking the old paths” as we are told in Jeremiah that we open ourselves up to deception. I pray that each of us would be strong in the Lord and the power of His might and remember that we could be the one deceived and it is only by a daily renewal of God’s grace and mercy that we will endure till the end and be able to stand in this evil day.

    I just want to say that Deborah, NLN, Kari and anyone who is hurting right now I pray that in Jesus name you will have peace, joy and a sense of the Lord’s comfort right now about your loved ones and friends who are caught up in this . I will hold you guys up in prayer every day when I pray for my own church and Pastor. I think it is very important that we hold our Pastor’s and Churches up in prayer right now that these teachings do not come in and spread like a virus, and if our Pastor’s preach the truth from the pulpit those people will leave.
    I have good news to share with you guys. God will bring people along side you to support you and comfort you when you lose friends and fellowship over this. I am sure that is how we all ended up here.

    My reaction to the video when I saw it over at Onward/Forward/Toward:

    Was that somebody in the b/g (a) howling like a coyote, (b) laughing like a drunk hyena, (c) gushing like a brain-dead blonde, or (d) doing a bad impression of a stand-up I saw once on Comedy Central (the “URRRRRRGES in my AAAAAAREAS” guy)?

    My first impression was “Ain’t Drunks Funny?”

    My second was “Looks like they’re toking something a LOT stronger than “Jehovah-juana” — “Jesus Crystal Meth”, maybe?

    Randy Stonehill needs some more lyrics for “It’s a Great Big Stupid World”. New filk lyrics about what goes on INSIDE the church.
