This theological garbage puts all the power in the hands of man.

In Isaiah 28, we will find the worshipers of God in the temple getting drunk on wine. And as a result, they made an agreement with hell. In chapter 29, the worshipers were also drunk, but not with wine. Finally, in chapter 30, the worshipers wanted false prophecy, and demanded that the Spirit of God be removed from their path.
This very same ritual, has been the pattern of satanic delusion, and spiritual possession, since shortly after Noah, got off the boat. What may surprise many of us, is that this very same drama is common in all walks of life. This pattern of worship can be found in castles, estates, mansions and in fraternal gatherings, with as much frequency, as the patrons of street drunkenness, one may pity or condemn.
The congregation in Isaiah 28 released their natural resistance to spiritual invasion by getting drunk. In the ancient world, the annotation of drunk on wine, is a euphoric and erotic demonstration of drug use and ritual drinking.
Once these sad souls received their covenant with death, they no longer needed the influence of wine, as Isaiah 29 describes, but notice that at this point, God closed their eyes to the truth. I have yet to meet a single person, whom has been ‘slain in the spirit’, who carried any reasonable knowledge of God’s Word. These unfortunate souls have no recognition or discernment of Holy Scripture.
As a result of this, and many other forms of pagan worship, the worshipers declare, as Isaiah 30: 10 & 11states: “Which say to the seers, See not; and to the prophets, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us!”
It is not a joyful report, to watch these children follow those whom have an agreement with death. Particularly since, few of these children understand that their emotional, and sensual experience is not a Holy Spirit anointing.
And this is both the tragedy and danger, of the men who lead these lost souls. No one in these congregations wishes to lose their spiritual powers, nor will they risk expulsion by biblically verifying what they are taught.
Men like Clement, Bentley, and Wagner are an example of the extreme, but every day, their madness becomes more and more normal, to many in religious society. Sadly, some people will actually believe, that if something happens to our new President, then it was ordained by God.
As a result, I have no illusions about the Apostle’s warning in John 16: 2, which says: “They shall put you out of the synagogues; yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service!”
The persecution of the True Believing Christian will not come from without, but from within the church organization. I pray fervently for those caught in this new gospel, and for those whom preach it. Only God can overcome their possession.
We are to cast down every vain imagination that seeks to exalt itself against the knowledge of God…and take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ. There is very little in Kim’s “show” that doesn’t exalt him as a “know it all” …and he reminds me somehow of a soothsayer…
Let us read the Word of God and take our prayers and petitions with thanksgiving before the Lord…and in all of it — Let Us Rejoice…for Jesus is our King…!
Regardless of who is president…Jesus has it going on…

All kidding aside, this teaching [or prophesying] about ‘the apostles and prophets taking over the U.S. government is all apart of this plan they have–it is based upon the 7 Mountains theory, which isn’t funny at all.
They are dangerous–the entire lot of them.
To me the boarder on meeting the common definition of a cult. If they are not careful the government itself could end up classifying them as one also.
Don’t sell all these people short, or just look at them as harmless nuts, because they are growing every day…
And some of them are being accepted by other ministries as legit. We saw that recently in California when many normal Christian leaders worked along side them in defeating the same-sex marriage bill.
This stuff is extremely sick, wicked, and dangerous. It has nothing to do with genuine Christianity. The Lord is my Shepherd, I want no other.

The scary part is the muddy water between these folks and the more respected Christian leaders. Between this radical prophecy/dominionist teaching and the emerging Church movement things will get even muddier. We need to pray for discernment and wisdom more now than ever. I think we will be shocked in the coming days who hops in bed with who in order to reach some personal/Church agenda.

PJ is right about the dangers of this stuff. It is way too easy to look at these guys and say “no Bible believing Christian is gonna fall for this wacky nonsense!” because I have seen some very faithful, conservative Christians spend every evening tuning in to the Todd Bentley Circus and putting all of their hopes in him. And TB didn’t even really bring up Jesus.
I was listening to some conspiracy show the other day, Coast to Coast or Alex Jones or something, and he had a guest on who worked in the secular milatary division of government and (I believe it was Alex) asked the man if he was aware of Sarah Palin’s involvement with Joel’s Army. The man replied that all of the military industrial complex higher ups are aware of the plans of Joel’s Army. That many in the military are involved in this. I had never heard it mentioned before outside of Christian circles and I was like, “Wow! That is so creepy!” Of course, Alex Jones likes to waaaaay sensationalize some stuff, but still, it’s common knowledge in the military? What in the world is going on?
Once I saw Kim prophecying on TBN, with three beautiful black “sisters” as his back up . They were all tall, and dressed in black silk pant-suits. They had all the moves , in unison, as the “Temptations”.
Kim was in his “RAP” stylings at the time….rapping his prophecies…as his singers would relay them as they swayed and danced to the beat. This was all very, very sensual.He was the flagship of TBN prophetic theology for a while.
Surreal does not touch it. Cartoonish and Bizzarre, in the light of the beauty of holiness in the face of Jesus of Nazareth.
Remember; “We are the head…and not the tail?” The prosperity, Faith Word folks simply have adapted the natural progression of Domimion Theology in the financial wing, and that is where the real power lies. Show me the money!
The grieving truth is that his followers and supporters really don’t care if he hears from God. He probably never has. He has been proven a liar multiple times…and he is still adored as a modern Elijah….and has resorted to such “shotgun” prophecies as this…..which could possibly refer to thousands of potential events. This also opens the door , to ANY future disaster, as being this one…..and would bolster his status with the ignorant as the predicter and the man who warns.
The pervading issue with me is the seduction of the weak and the young….and as in DAVE 2′s above post…[EXCELLENT! insights and truth here.] When you are inundated with the lie, over and over; babtized in lies daily….you lose your ability to hear and understand truth…so it becomes impossible to obey it…or Him, and therefore LIVE. Lies kill people…Kim….and you are a murderer….Repent soon! In Laodicea the Lord’s rebuke and counsel was to buy gold tried in the fire, and white garments, and salve to see the truth with. Holiness and discipline unto Jesus is the answer and the counsel to Clement and his ilk, along with their followers.
Jesus prophecied that the days of trouble would come…and it doesn’t take a prophet to see that this is NOW. …9-11?
I think they are irrevelant and losing power. They make a splash here or there…but I have seen a groundswell of resistance to these charlatans. They love power and money, and above all…themselves…[I wonder if Absolom curled his hair with the same narcissistic flip as Clement?] I am impressed, PJ, as you obviously are.

First … thanks for posting this, well, I think … (I could still be blissfully ignorant had I not seen it .. um … yeah, thanks!)
Seriously, I have a few comments :
1) Someone in a previous post mentioned the Secret Service. I do think they would be interested in this, as their job is to protect the occupants of the White House, past, present, and near future. With what Clement said, I think they would be remiss not to investigate it.
2) The partnering of legitimate churches and ministries with deluded individuals such as Clement only serves to blur the lines between the true and the false. Unfortunately, agencies like the ss, or others don’t necessarily have a lot of discernment when it comes to figuring out who is on what side of a particular spiritual line, other than what people say or who they associate with.
This brings up the distinct possibility that a lot of innocent people and/or groups could get caught in a net cast for a few whack-jobs like Clement. I would bet that many of the ministries that may associate with Clement may have no idea how nutty, dangerous, and downright deceitful his “words” are, and what they may provoke in people.
Clement is endangering himself ,those that have anything to do with him, as well as bringing disrepute on the body of Christ at large. It strikes me as similar to terrorists and Muslims … I’m sure that a great may people that call themselves Muslims have no intent to cause anyone else harm, but there are a few that make statements and partake of terrorist activities that create a stigma for the rest. Many people cannot draw a line between the guilty and the innocent. I can see something similar happening with Clement and the 3rd wave gang, and the rest of the church.
3) We need to pray for Clement, and all the rest of this gang. People that go around shooting their mouth off, prefacing it with “Thus saith the LORD” are creating more problems than they can imagine, all the while thinking they are doing good. Ughhhhhh.

I have had the same thoughts many times, and I believe I have some inkling on how that may happen.
First, being inundated with and embracing the lies of Word-Faith and Dominionist teachings, many people in the church have knowingly or unknowingly accepted as true a lust for money and power. They think that because they believers that God owes them “first place”, and whatever they desire in terms of wealth, influence, and authority. I have seen this first-hand … it creeps in very subtly, often over many years, and people don’t even recognize it as evil.
What I believe happens then, is the “words” of “what God will do” for people (Give them all the worldly treasures they yearn for) don’t pan out. The new job doesn’t come, they’re not accepted as some authority, etc. The false promise remains unfulfilled. In other words, God does not drop the desired thing (ie; idol) in their lap as they were promised by a false prophet. But the desire for the idol remains, and so does the belief that the “word” (Whatever promise it was) was from God.
This creates an unfulfilled and very strong desire in the heart for the idol, which plays into the more aggressive aspect of the dominionist teaching … go and seize it yourself, go and take what God has given you, etc. (Seek ye first what??) The next phase is exactly what you describe … the getting into bed with all sorts of other people, groups, organizations, most of them quite ungodly. I know of a particular situation where people in a certain church were seeking to get in with state government officials at various levels. All the while thinking they are “doing God’s will”.
Can you say “the church whoring herself out”? I knew you could.

kari: for real 100%…He rapped his prophesies for years in Detroit with a boogie/jazz bass guitarist backing him up…..[good guitarist..] with sliding riffs that would exclaim a particular point…kinda of a bass “drum roll.” The guitar reminded me of the intermission return on the “Seinfeld” show…a “wah wah” base woof….
I watched him on TBN, perhaps 7 or 8 years ago, with the black all girl back up singers…once was enough…but have heard him plenty of times in his rap mode. He really got worked up. Elijah was hip too…….c’mon.
When I was 12 or 13, I saw that awful movie, Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band. There was a scene in the movie where the villians, played by Aerosmith, played their music on stage. It was dark and meant to be very creepy. Everytime I see one of these acts such as Bentley or Clement, I am reminded of that scene in that movie, and how creepy it seemed. This is creepier by far.

I think Kim still raps occasionally. He is a little more new agey kind of mystical thing going on now. You know that brings the sheep in in droves, just ask Pat King. Kind of reminds me of Bentley and his wrestling moves. These folks live out their fantasies while serving the Lord. Kim must fancy himself some sort of rock star. Hence the long, flippy hair. Should be a big sign that something is major fleshly and WRONG. I do not want to sit around and analyze how everyone looks. And I do not expect everyone in ministry to look like Charles Stanley. But it does convey something or someone you are trying to speak to, or an image you are trying to convey. Especially if you focus on rapping or sheek a boom bahing people, or whatever you call what Bentley did. Kind of like John Crowder and the drug stuff. You know Christ came to set the captives free from this stuff, but these people pervert it to sell a Christian message? Hmmmm…something stinks here people!

Dave to Mrsbucket – Your words about the WOF movement are so true. Was in it for 10 years. All it did for me was almost completely destroy my faith in the goodness of God because the wealth never materialized – therefore there must be something wrong with my faith. It was then that I started crying out the scripture in Phillipians 2:something – It is God who works in us to will and do His good pleasure. I asked God, please work in me to my will and do your good pleasure. Please, let me not be deceived, but to know Jesus and Him crucified and resurrected. That prayer changed my life and I’m so thankful. Jesus and the Word of God are all we need to know the truth. Jesus is the truth.
Jesus thank you for helping marybee. Lord there are so many like her, please help us to be strong and tell people the truth of your word, in your Gospel. Marybee the same thing happens all the time. In my church an associate Pastor told a young couple who’s baby passed away that it happened because they did not have enough faith. I am so glad you found the truth and this blog. When I was listening to this same sort of thing I googled Todd Bentley. I ended up here and thank you Jesus I started reading and never stopped. There is so much great research and info here, I pray it will help you.

Kim Clement has quite the following. A friend and i were discussing him a few days ago and i told her i believe he is ‘the most’ popular false prophet around today…
One thing i’ve noticed here at the blog: it doesn’t matter how many scriptures you point to, which proves he is not a prophet of God [concerning his many failed prophesies, etc] people still insist he is a ‘true prophet’
There actually seems to be a spiritual blindness attributed to his most devout followers when it comes to him.
PJ – My friend showed me the recent video Mr. Clement made justfifying his prophecy regarding “a godly man will be placed in the White House.” Have you seen it? Have you noticed how nervous the guy appears? He scratched his head and wipes his nose every two or three seconds. He does not reflect anything holy to me. He reeks of a charlatan. Yes, I believe it must be posted on line. It was the first and only one that I’ve watched. He kept repeating, “You must never pre-suppose any of my prophecies, but keep your mind open.” And, then, he followed with a polite solicitation for money.

I think that this whole gang of false teachers/ prophets make these outrageous claims when their bank account is dipping and this is the sure fire way to get the bank account in the black again.
