Rick Joyner ‘sees’ into the Coming Kingdom…

Years ago I read a good portion of Rick Joyner’s book ‘The Final Quest’ and found parts of it so bizarre and unbiblical, I didn’t finish it. This was years before ever hearing of Dominionist teachings or any of the teachings/movements associated with it.

Since, I’ve researched the beliefs and history of this movement, but haven’t read much concerning their beliefs on the second coming of Jesus, the resurrection, etc etc, which is not surprising for those associated with this movement (and that of Joel’s Army, Manifest sons of God, The NAR, etc) are more concerned now with ‘dominating’ or taking dominion of all spheres of the earth through means of their own.

Anyway, I came across what is referred to as a Seasonal Prophetic Bulletin by Rick Joyner today at Elijah List: “Highway to Heaven – It is Time to Learn to Fly”, in which Joyner writes on the Resurrection, The Coming of Christ, and what he’s been shown concerning the ‘New Earth’, plus. I thought you might be interested in a few of his comments/beliefs.

quote…

President-elect Obama won the election because he seized the high ground of hope for the future. The hope he gave was mostly undefined and superficial, which only goes to show the power of hope, especially in difficult times. This is a lesson we must learn.

One of the most tragic mistakes of Christianity has been to focus on the prophecies of judgment about the end of the age instead of fulfilling the commandment to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom. Gospel means “good news,” and it is the greatest news the world has ever or will ever hear. When that greatest hope of all is articulated, no message on earth will have ever had a greater impact. It is time to take up this charge.

This is not to imply that we should overlook the prophecies about the troubles that will come upon the world at the end of this age. A good case can be made that these troubles are already unfolding. We are foolish if we do not heed these and prepare for their fulfillment. However, the devil has been successful in getting the world to believe that Christians are fearful prophets of doom who are against just about everything and are out to spoil everyone’s fun. Many Christians have helped to feed that image by the message they preach, and the message they have preached has made them into that kind of Church. This will soon change.

The Gospel of the Kingdom is the greatest hope for the future this world has ever heard. This is the unshakable promise that we have from God that His Kingdom is going to come to this world and His will is going to be done, right here on Earth as it is in Heaven. When His Kingdom comes, He is going to restore the earth into the paradise that it was originally intended to be. The lions will lie down with the lambs, and children will play with cobras, because no one is going to hurt anyone else. All the mourning, pain, disease, famine, and even death itself will have been removed from the earth. At that time, the knowledge of the Lord will cover the earth as the waters cover the sea.

Even the most far-fetched concepts and dreams of utopia fall short of how great it will actually be right here on the earth after the Kingdom has come and the earth has been restored.

However, the greatest promise of all is that God is going to make His dwelling place on earth among men. As awesome as His creation is, God is far more interesting, compelling, and lovable than His creation. God will again walk with men in paradise and dwell among them. This will indeed make the earth the center of the universe. When mankind is restored to God and to our original purposes, the creation will come back into harmony and become the home for man and God that it was originally intended to be. This will be far more wonderful than we can comprehend at this time.

That is the hope given for the original creation, but what is promised for the new creation will be far better.

The new creation is the great company of those who responded to God in this age and who were redeemed, reconciled, and restored to Him. These are the ones who gave their lives to His service in preparing the way for His coming Kingdom and will have “a better resurrection” (see Hebrews 11:35). As the Lord Jesus testified, they will be like Him in His resurrected, glorified Body and will have transcended the natural realm to be “partakers of the divine nature” (see 2 Peter 1:4).

These will also rule with Christ over the earth during the “period of restoration of all things” (see Acts 3:21)—the one-thousand year reign of Christ over the earth.

We can see in the Scriptures that the restoration of the earth to the paradise it was originally created to be will take one thousand years.

The earth and all of the people on it will go through a renewing process similar to what a Believer goes through after being born again.

We are not instantly perfected and mature, but we must have our minds transformed as we grow up “into Christ.” This is similar to what the whole earth will go through, but it will be much easier after the Lord’s return and satan is bound. The period of restoration will be filled with wonders just as the progressing Christian life is. Again, all of this is seen in the prophecies of Scripture.

The reason why the Lord did not bind satan and cast him into the lake of fire immediately after His resurrection (which He had the authority to do), was because He did not want it to be easy for us…

There is a prevailing concept that when the Lord returns the earth will be instantly perfected. That is not the case as the prophecies make quite clear. In fact, that is not the way the Lord has ever done anything. The whole period of history since the Fall reveals His patient process with man. However, when He returns, it is obvious that the process of renewal will be hastened and made much easier for the earth and its inhabitants.

I have had prophetic experiences in which I was shown brief pictures of how wonderful the Kingdom of God on the earth will be. With sin and evil removed, the mental capacity of people grew to be many times what we have now. It has been estimated that even the greatest geniuses only use about 10 percent of their brains. In the Kingdom, the rest of the brain will be awakened, not just for people, but for all creatures. This will result in an ability to perceive and understand many times what we are able to now. The animals were also freed mentally so that there was a communication and understanding between all living things.

Animals such as lions seemed to have an intelligence approaching what people have now. The communication between people and animals was conversational and intelligent. I was shown that this was actually the condition in the Garden before the Fall, which is why Eve was not startled when the serpent talked to her—she was used to having conversations with animals.

After the Fall, the discord between man and creation grew as man fell deeper into depravity and selfishness. Noah, who had maintained a level of harmony with God, also had maintained a level of harmony with His creation. This enabled Noah to be comfortable with the animals in the ark and to communicate with them. That, too, is an insight into what the messengers of the Kingdom will be like. They will not only save man but the creation as well.

In the visions I have been given of the age to come, men were not teaching the animals tricks but high level concepts and the ways of the Lord. The creatures worshiped Him too and wanted to know Him and be close to Him. The animals were also sharing with men their understanding of Him and their understanding of the creation. It was as if man was having the kind of fellowship with the animals that God has with men. Knowledge was still increasing, and it was truth that led to an increasingly abundant life.

Because the curse on the earth was removed, the climate seemed much more uniform over the earth. This enabled plants to grow much faster and larger. Fruit was produced continually, not just seasonally. People did not seem to need as much food as they do now. The productivity of fruit and grains was so abundant that the earth could be occupied easily by many times the number of people who had lived during this age. In fact, several times the number of people who had lived on the earth could have lived in what is now an area less than the size of Texas. There was that much more productivity out of the land and less consumption by man and the animals.

Technology was also far beyond what we have now. Energy was given by nature in a way that was not only a ready source but clean and completely renewable. The energy from the sun was converted in such an efficient way that roads absorbed it and transferred it directly to vehicles traveling over them, with no pollution. There was air travel also, but the fuel source came from solar energy that was absorbed on the surface of aircrafts and was transferred directly into power. Engines were so quiet that they seemed to be an electric and magnetic combination. The energy transfer was so efficient that there was no waste and no pollution.

Travel was extensive for recreation, education, and trade. Commerce and interchange was vibrant, but without hype, pressure, and competition. There was not a mentality of getting the most out of a transaction, but rather giving the most. This made for a peace and tranquility that pervaded over all. Survival was not an issue and neither was prosperity, so fear and greed were no longer a part of human transactions. This made every day full of life and joy, and learning was the great treasure for everyone.

I did not see space travel but understood that the solar system was “the backyard” that those on earth were devoted to settling and bringing to life. To help life become abundant where it was not yet found was a great focus and devotion. The technology of harnessing the sun’s energy was making this possible for even distant planets and moons. The creation of this type of technology and this devotion to bring life where it was not yet found brought great pleasure to the Lord. It seemed that all of mankind’s now considerable genius was devoted to spreading life and helping it to thrive.

Why was I shown this? I think it was simply because I asked to understand what mankind would be doing after the earth was restored. It was just a curiosity, but I felt that it brought great pleasure to the Lord to show me these things.

What I have described above was what I was shown for mankind, but the “new creation” is given far more than this.

As stated, those who attained to the high calling of God by overcoming in this age were given “a better resurrection.” They were not just resurrected as humans on the earth, but in the nature of Christ in His resurrection.

They could visit the natural realm at will, but they did not dwell there—rather they dwelled in the spiritual realm.

In this life we can only see in part and know in part, and I have not been shown much more than this about those who attain to the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. This is the race that the Apostle Paul wrote about (see 1 Corinthians 9:24). It was also what he was seeing when he said that he did not consider himself to have yet attained to it, but he pressed on toward the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. Of course, Paul was not thinking about his redemption or salvation, which we attain as soon as we believe. He saw something so great concerning a high calling that he pressed on to attain the “one thing” (see Philippians 3:13-14), and he did not consider at that time that he had.

The mentality that in the resurrection we will all be the same is disputed throughout the Scriptures.

There are rewards and even the manner of our resurrection is obviously affected by how we serve Him in this life. Not understanding that how we live this life will affect our place in eternity is probably one of the main open doors to lukewarmness and even debauchery among Christians. Obviously, the Lord’s own disciples understood this or they would not have asked for certain positions in the Kingdom.

The Scriptures actually make it quite clear that there will be a resurrection to the Heavenly realm for some and the earthly realm for others.

Even being resurrected to the lowest state will be far more wonderful than the highest state in this life. However, there clearly is a “high calling” that even perceiving a little should wake us up to the greatest devotion. I have had some conservative evangelical leaders say that not understanding this is the one thing that is hurting the Church in our times, and understanding it could have a bigger impact on the Church than any other single factor. I am not sure if I would quite go that far, but no doubt it is very important.

“A voice is calling, ‘Clear the way for the Lord in the wilderness; make smooth in the desert a highway for our God. Let every valley be lifted up, and every mountain and hill be made low. Let the rough ground become a plain, and the rugged terrain a broad valley. Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all flesh will see it together, for the mouth of the Lord has spoken.'”

We prepare the way for the Lord by building a highway. To build a highway, the ground needs to be leveled, bringing down mountains and hills, and raising up the low places. A lot of work is done for us to be able to drive on our super-highways and zip along at 70 mph. Likewise, many have done a lot of work on our spiritual highway so we can go much further and faster than those who went before us.

This is one reason why it is so important and crucial for our spiritual health to honor our fathers and mothers in the Lord, who did so much to make our way straight and smooth. It is likewise our job to keep building this highway until it is complete and the Kingdom comes.

There is a straight, smooth highway right through the difficulties the world is presently experiencing. Regardless of how dark and confusing it gets in the world, for those who are on the highway, it will be getting increasingly bright and full of hope..

The Best of Times

There will be an increasing distinction between those who are on the path of life and those who are not. Churches and individuals who are on the right path will see increasing revival. Great and exciting new movements are about to be born all over the earth. The wise will rejoice in all of them. These will not bring competition but will be the streams that make glad the city of God.

The Church is going through a radical transformation, and radical, Biblical Christianity will continue taking root across the earth. Miracles will again be a main currency of the Church, verifying its message of the Kingdom, which will begin to be preached. Every new stream or movement will help carry the whole Church further toward her ultimate destiny. The whole Church should embrace new movements the way a congregation embraces new Believers.

Power and Dominion

I was told over twenty years ago that the Cross would be popular again and that it would be the message of our times—I know that we have come to that time. When this becomes a reality, it will pave the way for unprecedented supernatural authority to be given to the Church.

The Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in every place before the end of this age can come. Just as the Gospel of salvation can only be preached by those who have salvation, the Gospel of the Kingdom can only be preached by those who are living in the Kingdom. The highway to the Kingdom is open and many are traveling it. It is the higher-way of God.

A New Beginning

The number 8 in prophecy often refers to a new beginning, and 2008 was certainly a year of new beginnings. However, when a person is born, they are far from being what they will be when they mature, and the new things that have been born in the Church this year are a long way from being mature..

On 8/8/08, we had a gathering to celebrate this new beginning. It was an outdoor event on the grounds at Heritage and it drew thousands. The Lord gave us “signs in the Heavens” to testify that He was indeed bringing forth a new beginning. For days before, the heat had been hitting 100 degrees or more, and the humidity was almost too much to bear for more than a few minutes. Of course, we were concerned about the people in the open fields. However, the Lord turned on His air conditioner, and as we gathered for the meeting the temperature was a very comfortable 88 degrees with low humidity, and the wind was blowing 8 mph.

The presence of the Lord was remarkable, and there were many signs and wonders that day. Even so, the Lord had spoken through a number of dreams that September 21 was going to be an even more important day. We had changed the dates of our Harvest and Worship & Warfare Conferences so that September 21 was the Sunday between them. It was a powerful day, but not more than we were used to at conferences, and it did not seem that anything very significant happened—but it did. Through a number of prophetic dreams and experiences given to those who had gathered with us and others who were far away, the Lord proclaimed that day as the end of the Laodicean Church and the beginning of age of the 8th Church of the Book of Revelation.

This is not to add to the Book of Revelation, but there is actually an 8th Church in it—the Bride that is prepared for Him and comes down out of Heaven…

20 comments on “Rick Joyner ‘sees’ into the Coming Kingdom…

  1. This is a long article so I will stop and paste portions that I want to comment on, bit by bit.

Here is the first one: Rick Joyner says “….President-elect Obama won the election because he seized the high ground of hope for the future. The hope he gave was mostly undefined and superficial, which only goes to show the power of hope, especially in difficult times.”

Hmmmmm? “Obama won because “he” seized the hight ground? Well, no, rather one should read the plain meaning of Scripture and teach that. Any prophecy that does no teach the plain meaning of Scripture is false:

First, God in charge of “Hope”, ah, “living Hope”::::>

1Pe 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! According to his great mercy, he has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,
1Pe 1:4 to an inheritance that is imperishable, undefiled, and unfading, kept in heaven for you,
1Pe 1:5 who by God’s power are being guarded through faith for a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Secondly, here are some Psalms that seem to, well, no, they do contradict you Rick and your prophecy:::>

Psa 66:5 Come and see what God has done: he is awesome in his deeds toward the children of man.
Psa 66:6 He turned the sea into dry land; they passed through the river on foot. There did we rejoice in him,
Psa 66:7 who rules by his might forever, whose eyes keep watch on the nations– let not the rebellious exalt themselves. Selah

If anyone seized the high ground of hope it would be God and what He/God has done. God rules by His might “forever”. He never allows anyone to share His Glory, never. It is His eyes that keep watch on the “nations”.

Joyner ought to stop being rebellious, “exalting himself” over the Word of Truth!

Psa 71:19 Your righteousness, O God, reaches the high heavens. You who have done great things, O God, who is like you?
Psa 71:20 You who have made me see many troubles and calamities will revive me again; from the depths of the earth you will bring me up again.
Psa 71:21 You will increase my greatness and comfort me again.
Psa 71:22 I will also praise you with the harp for your faithfulness, O my God; I will sing praises to you with the lyre, O Holy One of Israel.

Clearly this King of Israel knows who placed him into governing authority and rule. Seems a bit off that Obama seized the high ground of hope to me so I have to say Joyner’s prophecy is false.

You would think you could read these next words and “get it right”?

Rom 13:1 Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God.

Ah, Rick, God seizes the high ground, every time He appoints a change in leadership:::>

Rom 13:2 Therefore whoever resists the authorities resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment.

Finally, let Rick explain to the Children of God alive on the earth today why God would contradict Himself having sent a Word to His Son, Jesus Christ already, a Word we are to Trust forever, who, Jesus Christ, in turn then sent that same Word, word for word to His servant John by His Angel, instructing John to reveal word for word to “His Servants” things that must shortly come to pass?

No, Rick, Jesus Christ is the ruler of the kings on earth and that includes all potentates and presidents and all in authority. Look, let’s face it, your prophecy is false:::>

Rev 1:4 John to the seven churches that are in Asia: Grace to you and peace from him who is and who was and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne,
Rev 1:5 and from Jesus Christ the faithful witness, the firstborn of the dead, and the ruler of kings on earth. To him who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood
Rev 1:6 and made us a kingdom, priests to his God and Father, to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

  2. Ok, ok, here’s another one: “…..One of the most tragic mistakes of Christianity has been to focus on the prophecies of judgment about the end of the age instead of fulfilling the commandment to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom.”

No Rick, the tragedy is people like you deceiving the very Elect. But there is hope for us, called and elected of God. What He began in us, He has promised He will finish!

And, oh, by the way, the Gospel bears its “own” fruit and God doesn’t need anyone of us to bear Fruit:::>

Col 1:6 which has come to you, as indeed in the whole world it is bearing fruit and growing–as it also does among you, since the day you heard it and understood the grace of God in truth,

  3. Wow, this is the most pathetic sequence of words I have read today:::>

“However, the devil has been successful in getting the world to believe that Christians are fearful prophets of doom who are against just about everything and are out to spoil everyone’s fun.”

Huh? What? This guy is an idiot!

Now he is speaking against the Very Christ he claims died for his sins:::>

Joh 16:30 Now we know that you know all things and do not need anyone to question you; this is why we believe that you came from God.”
Joh 16:31 Jesus answered them, “Do you now believe?
Joh 16:32 Behold, the hour is coming, indeed it has come, when you will be scattered, each to his own home, and will leave me alone. Yet I am not alone, for the Father is with me.
Joh 16:33 I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world.”

  4. This is a crock!

“…..When His Kingdom comes, He is going to restore the earth into the paradise that it was originally intended to be. ”

Folks, guard your hearts and minds in Christ. This guy has lost it, whatever Grace he may have experienced. Am I the only one upset with this stuff? :)

Where does the Bible teach that Rick?

Here is the Scriptures I know:::>

Rev 21:1 Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

Ah, Rick, hello, hello, anyone in there? The sea was no more! This man’s mind is bent!

  5. This man speaks lies!

“….These are the ones who gave their lives to His service in preparing the way for His coming Kingdom and will have “a better resurrection” (see Hebrews 11:35).”

    Huh, what?

This is a crock. None of us “gave our lives” to Him or to His service.

Listen folks, let me ask you if while visiting the funeral palor of a lost family member or friend, standing before the box their carcus is lying in, if ever they got up and gave you anything?

Rick, reconcile your words with God’s:::>

Eph 2:5 even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ–by grace you have been saved–
Eph 2:6 and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus,

Dead people don’t give anything up! Why? Because they are dead, stupid!

Joh 15:16 You did not choose me, but I chose you and appointed you that you should go and bear fruit and that your fruit should abide, so that whatever you ask the Father in my name, he may give it to you.

  6. ok, that’s it. One last comment.

    This is nuts:::>

“….We are not instantly perfected and mature, but we must have our minds transformed as we grow up “into Christ.” This is similar to what the whole earth will go through, but it will be much easier after the Lord’s return and satan is bound. The period of restoration will be filled with wonders just as the progressing Christian life is. Again, all of this is seen in the prophecies of Scripture.”

This is so far removed into a false world of imaginary human mind safety, a dillusion. He is dillusional.

Here, read this. This is the Truth. Compare what the True Apostle Paul writes about “human nature”, its present condition, in his day and ours, as we are the one reading his Words in our day, with those words of Joyner:::>

Rom 8:18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us.
Rom 8:19 For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God.
Rom 8:20 For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope
Rom 8:21 that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God.
Rom 8:22 For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now.
Rom 8:23 And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.
Rom 8:24 For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees?
Rom 8:25 But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.

Paul makes no claim to having a different “flesh body” after being saved by God. The flesh profits nothing. It is not the flesh that is changed. One’s spirit, soul and body are regenerated when, being in a state of “dead”, God touches His called and elected ones, you and makes you “instantaneously” alive in Christ. God is “Eternal” and a life giving Spirit. We are all dead in trespasses and sins. Period. When you are made alive in Christ, it is immediate, instant, instantaneous!

Read Romans Rick. It is right there! “….We are not instantly perfected…”, well, yes we are, instantly perfected! Read Romans Rick. It is clearly stated right there:::>

Rom 8:15 For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”
Rom 8:16 The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God,
Rom 8:17 and if children, then heirs–heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, provided we suffer with him in order that we may also be glorified with him.

    and at Titus too:::>

Tit 3:4 But when the goodness and loving kindness of God our Savior appeared,
Tit 3:5 he saved us, not because of works done by us in righteousness, but according to his own mercy, by the washing of regeneration and renewal of the Holy Spirit,
Tit 3:6 whom he poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ our Savior,
Tit 3:7 so that being justified by his grace we might become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

    And Colossians too:::>

Col 2:9 For in him the whole fullness of deity dwells bodily,
Col 2:10 and you have been filled in him, who is the head of all rule and authority.
Col 2:11 In him also you were circumcised with a circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ,
Col 2:12 having been buried with him in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the powerful working of God, who raised him from the dead.
Col 2:13 And you, who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made alive together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses,
Col 2:14 by canceling the record of debt that stood against us with its legal demands. This he set aside, nailing it to the cross.

Ok, I am going to continue to read this mud, but I promise, unless I hear an audible Voice out of Heaven, I swear, I won’t make another comment about it.

Now, if someone wants to ask me a question, I might not be able to resist, and go ahead and answer it? :)

  7. Hi Michael..

yes it is quite long but i didn’t want to take things he wrote out of context [i still didn't post it all! lol]

Here is the first one: Rick Joyner says “….President-elect Obama won the election because he seized the high ground of hope for the future. The hope he gave was mostly undefined and superficial, which only goes to show the power of hope, especially in difficult times.”

This is my sincere belief: Obama won because it was God’s will he do so. In all my almost 30 yrs as a Christian, i never saw and heard about so many Christians praying and interceding over this election–ever!

And believe me, they were not praying for Obama to win. I personally prayed God’s will be done…

Well Obama did win…so what does that say about all the prayers going up for weeks and months from these Christians praying for him to lose?

Seems to me that God had a plan which nothing was going to change–OR (and this is just my own personal thoughts) that the TYPE of prayers going up from these 1000’s of Christians, were prayed from a wrong heart–from wrong motives.

Either way God put Obama in office regardless of Joyner’s theory…LOL

Ok, ok, here’s another one: “…..One of the most tragic mistakes of Christianity has been to focus on the prophecies of judgment about the end of the age instead of fulfilling the commandment to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom.”

No Rick, the tragedy is people like you deceiving the very Elect.

I’ve noticed that trend of discounting ANY word of impending judgment–and warning of it, in the writings of all false prophets Michael—haven’t you?

They all seem to prophesy ‘new things’ ‘great times ahead’ etc etc etc…But not anything about self examination, repentance, or judgment. To me this has come to be one of the tests i apply to so-called prophets. If all they do is speak ‘smooth things’ i discount them…

He appears to believe that nothing will change when Christ returns and/or at the resurrection [as far as Christians] in their minds/spirits etc…but that we will continue [in the next life] to work toward ‘perfection’…

i must say that was a new concept to me! LOL

Short list of Joyner’s vision of the return of Christ and what it will be like afterward:

1- Only ‘certain’ Believers will receive a glorified body and be partakers of the nature of Christ:

(These are the ones who gave their lives to His service in preparing the way for His coming Kingdom and will have “a better resurrection” (see Hebrews 11:35). As the Lord Jesus testified, they will be like Him in His resurrected, glorified Body and will have transcended the natural realm to be “partakers of the divine nature” (see 2 Peter 1:4).

2- Only these certain elite Believers will rule and reign with Christ:

(These will also rule with Christ over the earth during the “period of restoration of all things” (see Acts 3:21)—the one-thousand year reign of Christ over the earth.)

3- As do all dominionists Joyner sees the return of Christ and the kingdom of God on earth as a ‘gradual process:

(There is a prevailing concept that when the Lord returns the earth will be instantly perfected. That is not the case as the prophecies make quite clear. In fact, that is not the way the Lord has ever done anything. The whole period of history since the Fall reveals His patient process with man. However, when He returns, it is obvious that the process of renewal will be hastened and made much easier for the earth and its inhabitants.

4- He believes we and the animals will be able to communicate as he says, man did in Eden:

(Animals such as lions seemed to have an intelligence approaching what people have now. The communication between people and animals was conversational and intelligent. I was shown that this was actually the condition in the Garden before the Fall, which is why Eve was not startled when the serpent talked to her—she was used to having conversations with animals.)

The problem with this is there is no biblical proof that animals and Adam and Eve talked to each other, other then the one occasion when satan appeared as a serpent.

5- He believes we will [after Christ's return] teach animals about the Lord:

(In the visions I have been given of the age to come, men were not teaching the animals tricks but high level concepts and the ways of the Lord….The creatures worshiped Him too and wanted to know Him and be close to Him. The animals were also sharing with men their understanding of Him and their understanding of the creation. It was as if man was having the kind of fellowship with the animals that God has with men. Knowledge was still increasing, and it was truth that led to an increasingly abundant life.)

6- When Jesus returns technology will continue to increase:

(Technology was also far beyond what we have now. Energy was given by nature in a way that was not only a ready source but clean and completely renewable. The energy from the sun was converted in such an efficient way that roads absorbed it and transferred it directly to vehicles traveling over them, with no pollution.)

what about Revelation 22?: And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

or Isaiah 60?: The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended.

    7- Commerce will continue:

Travel was extensive for recreation, education, and trade.

8- He appears to believe our time will be spent producing ‘life’ everywhere:

(I did not see space travel but understood that the solar system was “the backyard” that those on earth were devoted to settling and bringing to life. To help life become abundant where it was not yet found was a great focus and devotion. The technology of harnessing the sun’s energy was making this possible for even distant planets and moons. The creation of this type of technology and this devotion to bring life where it was not yet found brought great pleasure to the Lord. It seemed that all of mankind’s now considerable genius was devoted to spreading life and helping it to thrive.)

Well there you go…that is Rick Joyners vision of the Kingdom of God after Christ returns.

I must say it doesn’t follow any ‘picture’ i’ve envisioned…

  8. For the time will come when they will not take the true teaching; but, moved by their desires, they will get for themselves a great number of teachers for the pleasure of hearing them; (2 Tim 4:2 Bible in Basic English)

“`Therefore this is what the Sovereign LORD says: Because of your false words and lying visions, I am against you, declares the Sovereign LORD. . . . 10 “`Because they lead my people astray, saying, “Peace,” when there is no peace, and because, when a flimsy wall is built, they cover it with whitewash, 11 therefore tell those who cover it with whitewash that it is going to fall. Rain will come in torrents, and I will send hailstones hurtling down, and violent winds will burst forth. (Ezekiel 13:1-6, 8, 10-11)

“Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD.17 They keep saying to those who despise me, ‘The LORD says: You will have peace.’ And to all who follow the stubbornness of their hearts they say, ‘No harm will come to you.’18 But which of them has stood in the council of the LORD to see or to hear his word? Who has listened and heard his word? (Jeremiah 24: 16-18)

At that time many will turn away from the faith and will betray and hate each other, 11 and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. 12 Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but he who stands firm to the end will be saved.” (Matthew 24:10-13)

Blow the trumpet in Zion; sound the alarm on my holy hill. Let all who live in the land tremble, for the day of the LORD is coming. It is close at hand– 2 a day of darkness and gloom, a day of clouds and blackness. Like dawn spreading across the mountains a large and mighty army comes, such as never was of old nor ever will be in ages to come. 3 Before them fire devours, behind them a flame blazes. (Joel 2:1-3a)

This is what the LORD, the God of Israel, said to me: “Take from my hand this cup filled with the wine of my wrath and make all the nations to whom I send you drink it. 16 When they drink it, they will stagger and go mad because of the sword I will send among them.” 17 So I took the cup from the LORD’s hand and made all the nations to whom he sent me drink it: 18 Jerusalem and the towns of Judah, its kings and officials . . . and all the kings of the north, near and far, one after the other—all the kingdoms on the face of the earth. And after all of them, the king of Sheshak will drink it too. 27 “Then tell
them, ‘This is what the LORD Almighty, the God of Israel, says: Drink, get drunk and vomit, and fall to rise no more because of the sword I will send among you.’ 28 But if they refuse to take the cup from your hand and drink, tell them, ‘This is what the LORD Almighty says: You must drink it! 29 See, I am beginning to bring disaster on the city that bears my Name, and will you indeed go unpunished? You will not go unpunished, for I am calling down a sword on all who live on the earth, declares the LORD Almighty.’ (Jeremiah 25:15-18; 26-29)

The rest of the people who were not killed by these plagues still did not repent of the work of their hands; they did not stop worshiping demons, and idols of gold, silver, bronze, stone and wood—idols that cannot see or hear or walk. 21 Nor did they repent of their murders, their magic arts, their sexual immorality or their thefts. (Revelation 9:20-21)

For in many places and in neighboring cities there shall be a great insurrection against those who fear the Lord. 71: They shall be like mad men, sparing no one, but plundering and destroying those who continue to fear the Lord. 72: For they shall destroy and plunder their goods, and drive them out of their houses. 73: Then the tested quality of my elect shall be manifest, as gold that is tested by fire. (2 Ezra 16:70-73)(RSV)

He was given power to make war against the saints and to conquer them. And he was given authority over every tribe, people, language and nation. 8 All inhabitants of the earth will worship the beast–all whose names have not been written in the book of life belonging to the Lamb that was slain from the creation of the world. (Rev. 13:7-8)

He who has an ear, let him hear. 10 If anyone is to go into captivity, into captivity he will go. If anyone is to be killed with the sword, with the sword he will be killed. This calls for patient endurance and faithfulness on the part of the saints. (Rev. 13:9-10)

And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony for Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. (Rev. 20:4)

  9. The trouble with Joyner is that he has watched those C. S. Lewis movies….you know, “The witch and the Wardrobe.”….with all of the fairies and monsters and talking Animals,…and believed them… and of course, The Lion King….[..lyin' king...]…[Joyner's alter ego.]

This kind of theology is strangely akin to Mormon end-times theology….where we all become gods, and eventually we all get a planet…..and continue to evolve, slowly , until we become as God is now. We have a lot of fun being God.

To understand Joyner, we must also understand the BASIS of his revelation. It is the same as Todd Bentley’s , and Bobby Conner. It is transcendental meditation….guided imagery,” contemplative meditation”, where the individuals imagination, and unclean spirits unite, to transport them to other worlds, with real life experiences. Bentley had a chat with Abraham, and Paul. and Bob Jones and manilla vanilla “3rd heaven ” journeys, along with female leprechauns carrying bags of gold and flinging them out upon the followers of these leaders…[Emma..]

This is Joyner’s imagination, possibly coupled with some visions , derived from these ancient occult practices. The Hindi people call it kundalini. It is a wicked journey into the sweet high places of Satan himself, and the experiences brought back or ever so real; because the demons are real.

Visions derived from this dark witchcraft is where Joyner has got the material for the “FINAL QUEST”, and the rest of these FAIRY TALES….[…LITERALLY….}. It is poppycock, and as the Devil always does, Joyner has some threads of truth, and the Bible in it’s midst. Half truth, half minotaur.

The Roman Catholic church championed this idea of a prayer that would EMPTY your mind, into a nothingness, and then by attaching a thought, and guiding your desire, you would EXPERIENCE a god or result. It is a Babylonian and ancient a cult practice of Satanic devotion. and is rooted in the mysteries of iniquity. It is ancient, and so evil. I believe Joyner is a Catholic, an antichrist guy, and claims to be the American leader of the Knights of Malta…a dark catholic , sword carrying crew.

It is anti-Christian, where as Christian prayer is always outward and aggressive, focused to the right hand of God, [Jesus's Name], where He lives to make REAL intercession. It issues from the heart, not the stilling of the mind.

Christian prayer is always centered around the cross, and the mercies of God, as displayed by the shedding of the Saviors blood, for our cleansing of sin, and holy , and eternal salvation.

Do not let these latest “revelations” confuse you. They are not real, or from God, but contrived to seduce you, to amaze your curiosity in order that you would exalt Him, as an enlightened one. They are, as Satan speaks with a forked tongue, part truth, and part vanity. Jesus always replied with great authority, “It is written!”, and His truth drove the shadows away, along with the Devil. This vision is really about “GLORIOUS MOTHER EARTH!”….and …HER…restoration…….This is the giant angel, “The winds of change.”…that Bentley heard from.

Any wonder that Bentley is going to Morningstar to be “restored”? Joyner is just the man. They can compare imps……I meant notes…sorry Rick, but your on the outside again. Call C. Peter, Dutch or Chuck…maybe they can help you conjure up some prophetic authority. The problem you have, is that there are Christians who really do trust in the Bible, and notice when liars and deceivers like you try to trip them up. You are on the decline, Hallelujah, and the true body of Christ has got your number.

    666

Flee from this man, any involved or associated with Morningstar. He is under a curse.

  10. I think he’s got something there!!

(I just hope it’s not contagious)

  11. Bentley had a chat with Abraham, and Paul. and Bob Jones and manilla vanilla “3rd heaven ” journeys, along with female leprechauns carrying bags of gold and flinging them out upon the followers of these leaders…[Emma..]

AHAHA! :-) Tom, you had me cracking up with that statement… good one brother!

Do not let these latest “revelations” confuse you. They are not real, or from God, but contrived to seduce you, to amaze your curiosity in order that you would exalt Him, as an enlightened one. They are, as Satan speaks with a forked tongue, part truth, and part vanity…

amen Tom…some biblical truth mixed in with many lies…

When reading his description of the Kingdom here on earth, after Jesus returns, my first thought was ‘egads’…and then i found myself sad; sad because those like Joyner haven’t a clue…

  12. Yes he’s ‘got something’ Steve… and like you i don’t want it…

Denny, amen..thank you for the scriptures!

  13. PJ

Don’t forget Balaam’s ass talked to him!! Maybe that’s what Mr. Joyner needs — Balaam’s ass.

I was one caught up in all this Elijah List, False Prophet nonsense. It took a little while to understand the Dominionist thinking behind them. And that made me start questioning motives. It was the Todd Bentley debacle that opened my eyes. I almost fell for it but a friend said one thing about Todd B. If he really had the gift of healing why wasn’t he down at the cancer ward? That’s when I started searching for resources outside the “Prophetic Network” and found websites like yours. Websites like yours PJ, Church Warnings and many others got me back on the right path.

After I was delivered I couldn’t believe how easily a mature Christian who has read the bible completely through numerous times could be so easily decieved.

I appreciate your websites and others like it where many Christians are contending for the faith.

Many of our friends and family members are still following these FALSE PROPHETS but we continue to pray, speak the truth and send them links to articles that expose these charlatans for what they are.

    WOLVES greedy for gain.

May God sustain us as much deserved judgment is visited on our nation. My sincere hope is that judgment will be the wake up call the body of Christ in America needs to fall to her knees and repent!!

Keep up the good work. The Word of God is the final authority in all our lives – saint and sinner.

  14. To believe that you have received a vision is one thing, to then interpret that vision is another, to then be able, in a language that all understand, to gift to others that vision is yet another. No one here on earth has all of those gifts. Any one sayng they have is fooling not only themselves but others. Be ever watchfull

  15. pjmiller,

Behold, he comes with the clouds, and every eye shall see him, and they which have pierced him, and all the tribes of the land shall wail because of him. Yea. Amen

Then He continued by saying to them, “Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom, 11 and there will be great earthquakes, and in various places plagues and famines; and there will be terrors and great signs from heaven.
12 “But before all these things, they will lay their hands on you and will persecute you, delivering you to the synagogues and prisons, bringing you before kings and governors for My name’s sake. 13 “It will lead to an opportunity for your testimony. 14 “So make up your minds not to prepare beforehand to defend yourselves; 15 for I will give you utterance and wisdom which none of your opponents will be able to resist or refute. 16 “But you will be betrayed even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and they will put some of you to death, 17 and you will be hated by all because of My name. 18 “Yet not a hair of your head will perish. 19 “By your endurance you will gain your lives.
20 “But when you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then recognize that her desolation is near. 21 “Then those who are in Judea must flee to the mountains, and those who are in the midst of the city must leave, and those who are in the country must not enter the city; 22 because these are days of vengeance, so that all things which are written will be fulfilled. 23 “Woe to those who are pregnant and to those who are nursing babies in those days; for there will be great distress upon the land and wrath to this people; 24 and they will fall by the edge of the sword, and will be led captive into all the nations; and Jerusalem will be trampled under foot by the Gentiles until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.

  16. Mr. Joyner’s theology doesn’t resemble anything out of the Bible that I read. This only proves that it is so important that we contine to search our scriptures!

  17. PJ:

    commenting on Joyner, you wrote:::>

3- As do all dominionists Joyner sees the return of Christ and the kingdom of God on earth as a ‘gradual process:

You know, after thinking about that one, I believe he is onto something.

Jesus, from the time He was conceived and then born until His beautiful, Sinless Life was suddenly abruptly ended by the hands of godless men to fulfill God’s desire to remove all barriers between Him and us, His called elected children, He was growing gradually, one day at a time.

Now, of course, Jesus, the Son of God, being Eternal, can afford to grow gradually as a human being when necessary or wait it out with regards to the rebellious ways of His neighbors, as He did the whole generation that died in the desert after He succeeded in delivering them, because of their prayers, mind you, from the bondages of Egypt! Except for the two, Joshua and Caleb, only the “uncircumcised” crossed over the Jordan! Cf. Josh 5.

That’s a fright to me! Imagine that. God, sitting in Eternity, can sit it out and wait, letting people grow old gradually until they too pass from here to there!

At the end of the day, week, month, year, century, millenium, milleniums, “at the end of this present creation”, God will have, as He had the “first” word, the “last” word to all creations, small and great, in this life or the previous life and in the Life to come. It will be a Word for both Heaven and Hell!

  18. Theres only one who is prophetic and he chooses who and who not to gift revelation to. When you have a huge ministry to finance your motives on prophetic and the prophets are brought into question and therefor I say unto you once again: MANY C`ALL OUT FOR HOPE BUT WHO’S IN THE DRIVEING SEAT WHEN IT COMES TO THE ANSWER BEING GIFTED.

  19. Morning Star Ministry leavesa lot to be desired when it comes to truth in other words.
