HELP! “I’s can take no more!”
Has madness overtaken those Christians engaged in the culture wars? Are we to re-produce, have children (which are a GIFT from God Almighty) just so we can fill up the ranks in the culture army? Good grief folks…
We have sunk beyond loooow and have lost all perception of biblical Christianity and God’s gifts, if we would consider having children for such purposes as ‘culture ammunition’.

So, to win the culture wars, and to ‘outwit’ Muslims, we need to get moving and have children. You know what, like Lot my ‘soul is vexed’…I really can’t take much more of this nonsense coming from the ‘save America’ crowd.

As I read this one, LOL, I thought of two Scriptures:
Pro 17:24 The discerning sets his face toward wisdom, but the eyes of a fool are on the ends of the earth.
and
Rev 17:8 The beast that you saw was, and is not, and is about to rise from the bottomless pit and go to destruction. And the dwellers on earth whose names have not been written in the book of life from the foundation of the world will marvel to see the beast, because it was and is not and is to come.
As I have said many times, maybe never in here, so I will reiterate it:
“If you do not die and go to Heaven before you die, you do not go to Heaven”!
I am either a dweller on the earth, an earth dweller and my name is not written in the book of Life or I have died to this life and raised up seated now in Heavenly Places in Christ Jesus and my name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life!
This in no way means I can put my armor down! No, this is a battle to the death of self, one way or the other!
While the “Blessings” that come out of Abram are pouring into my soul, all around me there are many with the curse of the Law tormenting theirs!
As a Blood purchased Soldier in God’s Army, I am not to entangle myself in the affairs of this life. ESV translates it this way:
2Ti 2:1 You then, my child, be strengthened by the grace that is in Christ Jesus,

Well, “Planned Parenthood” has been trying to save America for years and years! They have a slightly different approach, though….Murder the babies….and so far only 50 million of them have actually been killed.
Europe though, has been much more successful, and has been spiraling into a negative population growth for decades, by means of abortion and birth control. Ole Dave here, may just be an alarmist. The problem is, and has been , not the HAVING of Children, but the Murdering of them before they are actually born.
Secondly, Dave assumes that because we may begin to actually allow our babies to live, that they will grow up and be separate from the Muslim crowd..you know…a Mom and apple pie family like Madonna’s, or Brittany Spears….that has Christian values to give them the moral strength to resist the anti-Christ Muslim encroachment. That makes sense.
The fact that Daubenmire is pushing his daughter and son-in-law to have White Babies for Jesus before they are financially and emotionally prepared shows how self-centered and racist his “Christian” agenda is. Did you notice that the statistics he provides show that US population is still growing thanks to Catholic Hispanic immigrants who are still having larger families? But apparently brown-skinned Catholic babies are not good enough for Daubenmire’s God.
Central Ohioans have known for a long time that Daubenmire is the most extreme of extremists. That’s why his “ministry” is total failure. He gets very few speaking engagements anymore, and when he does speak he attracts very low attendance. I wish he would just shut up and go away for good. He gives Christianity and Christians a bad name. He and his ilk are why Christianity is turning off so many of our young people.

I had started to write the first response to PJ’s topic; something witty & acerbic, but then I realized it was probably not appropriate…
So, you insight very refreshing from your own perspectives. I like these types of comments that get to the core result of impact of what people do “in the name of God” & what a negative witness it is…
And does Mrs. Coach Dave subscribe to the same sentiments? Are they doing their level best at bringing more children into the ranks of America? After all, Coach Dave has got to …well, you know…

Fleshly thinking if ever there was!
After reading and posting this yesterday, for a brief period, i felt like deleting this entire blog, and retiring from the internet; that may appear to sound like over-reaction–and if it was just this one story by itself you’d be right. But this, on top of the couple hundred like it, i read every 2-3 days, came close to being the straw which broke this camel’s back…or more like the satanic spiritual arrow, which came close to knocking me down.
I meant what i wrote above:
They are fast becoming apostates
And its time its called what it is.
Over the last year here i’ve him-hawed around, not saying it outright, hoping articles, messages (from others more wiser) etc. would say it for me–but no more.
False prophets, teachers, etc are apostates or worse– but so are those deeply involved in the so-called Christian patriot/political/culture-war movement. They have left their first love and worship at a strange altar to a strange god.
In the future i won’t be shying away from saying so either.

Daubenmire and wife are past childbearing age. He didn’t become a extremist kook until his family (3 kids) was complete. That’s why he has to push his two daughters to produce lots of little arrows for the cause. I doubt his son will ever get married – and he shouldn’t – because about three years ago the son, who had just accepted a job teaching special ed kids, was convicted of pandering child porn. Daubenmire’s ministry never really got off the ground so the very public arrest and conviction of the son doomed his ministry for good. Goodle “Zachary Daubenmire” for the creepy details.

In the last few years since this occurred i hope he’s gotten help, turned to God and is on the right path now…
Why are you surprised? This has been the position of the Roman Catholic church for, like, how long? That’s why the Roman Catholic Church opposes birth control, even natural forms such as the rhythm method. Roman Catholic church – states needed more numbers, people born into those states by Catholic parents and initiated into the church and the state as citizen by baptism, in order to pay taxes/tithes to support the church, and also to fight wars. For any doctrine that merges church with state or even church with culture, this is a logical extension.
Of course, after the need to have more children to support the church – state or church – culture, what comes next? Killing people who don’t conform to the church/state/culture. Except burning heretics is just the start. Killing Native American, native African, native Asian/Middle Eastern, native Australian, as a matter of fact even native European pagan and animist heathens, and taking their land and gold and making any able – bodied (or attractive and young if female) survivors slaves as a bonus … for the purpose of converting the slave men and procreating Christian out of wedlock love children with the slave women of course, all because they will not conform to your church state/culture is next.
Why do these folks support torture after all? Because those Muslims are a threat to our Christian culture and heritage, that’s why! In other words, the same reason why the “Christian” Ku Klux Klan used to lynch blacks (race mixing is a sin and a threat to white Christian culture!), Catholics, and Jews.
The Bible states that those claiming to be the people of God would think to be performing a service to God by killing people. Well, torture is just the first step. Actually, that these folks got behind the war in Iraq and all the needless deaths of innocent Iraqis and our own soldiers because of some alleged threat that the Saddam regime and the rest of those Muslims posed to “our Christian nation” … well you know my position on that.

i wasn’t as much surprised as i had reached my ‘disgust limit’ when reading this nonsense. My “cup ranneth over” yesterday, and it wasn’t from anything good, edifying etc being poured in. LOL
That is something which has come to my mind often in the last year.

It happened in the days of the early Church and i believe it will happen prior to our Lord’s return.
There are many today, though claiming to be part of the body of Christ, and believe they actually are, are enemies of the Cross. They are in many of our Churches and pews, and belong to movements in the US today which operate under the banner of Christianity. When in truth Christ or Christianity have nothing whatsoever to do with their movements or agendas.
Some day they will openly turn on believers who refuse to fall into lock-step with their false gospels and unbiblical positions. I may not live to experience it, but those young like yourself may…

I was shocked – and disturbed – to see that support for torture among evangelicals was far far higher than among Roman Catholics. Then again, Roman Catholics follow the pope, and the pope has been officially against war and torture for some time, at least since Vatican II. So, it looks like the evangelicals have stepped up to take the Catholics’ place.

He is right on the money in the quote you posted:

Unfortunately there are Christians who use the Bible and The Lord as a club to get what THEY want. Daubenmire would really like to get his hands on some grandchildren so that he can bring them up in his own image but pushing his daughter and SIL to start pumping out a quiverfull is WAY over the line. I don’t know if the young couple are strong enough to stand their ground. Daubenmire is very controlling. If he gets a foothold into their marriage, he’ll take over their lives and their children….all in the name of The Lord of course…and they’ll never be independant. Daubenmire said on his radio show today that he is begging them to start having babies. He is offering to help them but the problem is that he can barely pay his own bills. He said on his radio show that he had to cash out his 401K “because we needed the money to live on”. 10% penalty and 28% capital gains tax.
I’m sure he’ll insist that his daughter homeschool her children ..with his supervision of course. But that means that the daughter and SIL have to be able to make it on one income. SIL is working for “2 men and a truck” while waiting to get a job as a firefighter. There’s no way that this young couple can support a family on one income AND save money to buy a house.
“Christians” like Daubenmire are giving all Christians a negative image. Moderate reasonable Christians need to stop sheltering the crazy extremists under the church’s umbrella.
I heard this stuff preached 25 years ago by the American Religious Right. It’s old news.
It was implied that if all the Christians had six kids, homeschooled them in ‘Christian WhirledView”, and train them to vote Republican every election while the liberals either aborted their kids or became ‘selfish D.I.N.K.’s (double-income no kids) couples, that one day, we would outnumber them to the point of voting God back into sovereignty, restore prayer in the public schools, school vouchers for Christians, marriage tax penalities for single people, overturn Roe vs. Wade, keep Madylin Murray O’Hair from eliminating Christian television, stop communism / socialism, and eliminate the gays.
I heard it all before….
I look back twenty years at the quiver and see most of these families didn’t make it as one cohesive unit. Parents got divorced (usually due to the father’s adultery, divorce, and re-marriage of the 20 year old), Children were devastated and went into rebellion either as emergent liberal, goth culture, or atheist / agnostic..
If their logic was true, Obama should have never gotten elected because those children are now at voting age…..

Yes, i agree. It makes me wonder what really happened–why have these parents who are so deeply involved with the political religious-right, not been able to pass their beliefs along to their now-adult children.
I too have watched the rebellion in these young adults, which has led them away from the Church and away from Christ. I have a hunch its because these young people heard less of the real gospel and about the teachings of Christ, and more about christian political movements [and agendas], culture wars, etc. while growing up over the last 25-30 years, from their parents, pastors, and churches.
This spiritual emptiness can also help to explain why some of them also, are easily caught up in the antics of the Crowders, Bentley’s etc. today.
Understand your distress but just to encourage you PJ if you feel like giving up the negative, even for a while, please don’t give up the other aspects of your site. I am always blessed by your articles on Bible study, music etc.
As an at home carer they are a great source of spiritual food, of the nourishing kind!

There are days i just need to stay away from reading certain websites. The Holy Spirit tries to warn me to take a break, but foolishly i don’t always listen. (But i plan on heeding his warning from now on.)
