this is good!
"If the professed convert distinctly and deliberately declares that he knows the Lord's will but does not mean to attend to it, you are not to pamper his presumption, but it is your duty to assure him that he is not saved. Do not suppose that the Gospel is magnified or God glorified by going to the worldlings and telling them that they may be saved at this moment by simply accepting Christ as their Savior, while they are wedded to their idols, and their hearts are still in love with sin. If I do so I tell them a lie, pervert the Gospel , insult Christ, and turn the grace of God into lasciviousness."
"But there is further reason, and a pressing one today, why we should write upon our present subject, and that is to expose the modern and pernicious error of Dispensationalism. This is a device of the Enemy, designed to rob the children of no small part of that bread which their heavenly Father has provided for their souls; a device wherein the wily serpent appears as an angel of light, feigning to "make the Bible a new book" by simplifying much in it which perplexes the spiritually unlearned. It is sad to see how widely successful the devil has been by means of this subtle innovation." - by Arthur Pink
funny!
Sadly funny!
Sad but truth because the “false” is not the Truth.
Thanks PJ for the levity in the absurdity of wit with this false truth beguiling unstable souls!
Here is how you know True Apostles from the false. The True have this kind of fruit. The Apostolic Ministry, inaugurated by Christ and the Holy Ghost, does this for those this ministry is sent to:::>
Eph 1:15 For this reason, because I have heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love toward all the saints,
Eph 1:16 I do not cease to give thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers,
Eph 1:17 that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,
Eph 1:18 having the eyes of your hearts enlightened, that you may know what is the hope to which he has called you, what are the riches of his glorious inheritance in the saints,
Eph 1:19 and what is the immeasurable greatness of his power toward us who believe, according to the working of his great might
Eph 1:20 that he worked in Christ when he raised him from the dead and seated him at his right hand in the heavenly places,
Eph 1:21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and above every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come.
Eph 1:22 And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church,
Eph 1:23 which is his body, the fullness of him who fills all in all.
Notice that this Apostle discerns the “level” of maturity in those he is given to pray for “before” he prays for them this particular prayer. Also, he is praying to God asking God to do something for them, not him!
Here’s another of his prayers too:::>
Eph 3:13 So I ask you not to lose heart over what I am suffering for you, which is your glory.
Eph 3:14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father,
Eph 3:15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named,
Eph 3:16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being,
Eph 3:17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith–that you, being rooted and grounded in love,
Eph 3:18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,
Eph 3:19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.
Eph 3:20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,
Eph 3:21 to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Notice in this prayer how this True Apostle demures to “Him” who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we could ever ask or think or do ourself!
The video certainly captures this falseness of the false apostle. The false apostle puffs himself up and portrays himself to be able to do something for you “if” you do something for him, while the True Apostles asks nothing for himself or asks nothing “from you” but lifts up God’s Glory among the Saints because of the power and glory of God that is available to them through Christ and seeks God’s favor for them to do what God alone can do, not them! One lifts up themself as all powerful while the other, the True, lifts up Him who is All Powerful and Who can do all things necessary for the salvation of their soul!
You get a sense of this in these words of Paul too:::>
Rom 7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual, but I am of the flesh, sold under sin.
Rom 7:15 For I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.
Rom 7:16 Now if I do what I do not want, I agree with the law, that it is good.
Rom 7:17 So now it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.
Rom 7:18 For I know that nothing good dwells in me, that is, in my flesh. For I have the desire to do what is right, but not the ability to carry it out.
Rom 7:19 For I do not do the good I want, but the evil I do not want is what I keep on doing.
Rom 7:20 Now if I do what I do not want, it is no longer I who do it, but sin that dwells within me.
Rom 7:21 So I find it to be a law that when I want to do right, evil lies close at hand.
Rom 7:22 For I delight in the law of God, in my inner being,
Rom 7:23 but I see in my members another law waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that dwells in my members.
Rom 7:24 Wretched man that I am! Who will deliver me from this body of death?
Rom 7:25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord! So then, I myself serve the law of God with my mind, but with my flesh I serve the law of sin.
Michael, i’ve watched this at least 5 times today.. LOL!!
At the end when this false prophet/apostle gives Derek ‘a word’ it reminds me of all the false prophetic words i’ve posted here, and those who give them out.
When Derek confronts him with a ‘good grief’ it leaves me laughing outloud. ahaha…
This makes me sigh for obvious reasons.
The most painful part is when he says, “I plead the blood of Christ over you now.”
It does stir up in me something because in reality we are to do this. For as we know it is by the blood that we may receive life, but it is not something to be taken in jest.
My spirit has a great weight on it and I feel sorrow for those that are lost and deceived. It is terrible that they are in a “great delusion.”
May we pray for repentance.
Amen William, amen.
You know how much I love the NAR. Why is it that they are all I could think of when watching this video.?
I also saw how subtle some teachings were, that seem so biblical, especially the “power over the tongue ” one, where we control God by faith confessions and quoting scripture.
It is said of the serpent that “he is the most SUBTLE” of all creatures. When the Lord Jesus Himself was tempted by him, he tried the same strategy, slightly twisting the intent and meaning of scripture, as it is today. In the end, these DOCTRINES set man directly in the seat of God, which is precisely the root of the original sin. “YOU SHALL BE AS GOD! ”
If we succumb to this bent version of self fulfillment, disguised as being a servant of the Lord, we must be judged, for this is rebellion in the purist of forms. The Roman Catholics have taken it so far as to say that Papal bulls [decrees ] override the Bible, and every other law on Earth! This is the same fish, different pond. [ the charismatic heretics ] We are the head, and not the tail, so therefore ministry is to strive to get to the top; to ascend !
John the Baptist said of himself; “I must decrease, and HE must increase.” Jesus humbled himself underneath every soul ever created, to serve them, so that they would not perish. Now that’s humility and love. Pride and ambition are the motivating factors in Satan’s kingdom, and the shoe fits regardless what titles a man accrues unto himself, or what kind of collar he wears.
If you buy a shoe like this, make sure it is an opened ended sandal for sure. That way the claws can reach out and and not be cramped.
Tom, its ALL i kept thinking about too. This computerized ‘apostle/prophet’ sounded sooooo much like the stuff we hear from them, it was amazing.
Cool – that background music sure is catchy – did you notice the “pastor” uses soundbites – the other guy uses scripture.
LOL… yes little Derek was sure using his sword!
I loved this..
This is sooo good. The subtle way in which the deceiver mixes in truth with falsehood is amazing. -C
Amen Carole.
Mr ‘apostle/prophet’ sprinkled his lies with some truth.
[...] HT. [...]
This was hilarious!! I think I need to watch it again. The apostles dance moves at the end when he was giving Derek his “word” was too funny.
Those ‘moves… ahah..
Reminds me of a few TV ‘prophets’ Barb.
