Jackson’s music

This is nuts. Now we have a pastor seeing a message to the Church in Michael Jackson’s music. -Here

  1. Don’t write this off. Secular music reflects the spirit of the age and often provides a springboard for the gospel. Man in the Mirror is a good example of a Michael Jackson song that can be used this way.

    • Doesn’t read like any springboard was going to be used, except one glorifying Jackson’s music:

THIS SUNDAY AT CORNERSTONE, learn about the message in the songs, as Pastor Franklin delivers a timely and thought-provoking message.

Don’t miss the MESSAGE IN THE MUSIC OF MICHAEL JACKSON complete with a great media presentation, this Sunday at Cornerstone Church in the 9 & 11 am services.

You’ll be touched, amazed and THRILLED.

    • Music about sex, drugs, and rock and roll? Inspirational? And to bring them into the supposed sanctuary?

  2. yes, I found a message too:

“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”

  3. Oh my goodness

  5. Oh my goodness indeed Polycarp.

    >> You’ll be touched, amazed and THRILLED << they promise.

WHATEVER WILL THEY RESORT TO NEXT? Well at least it cannot get any worse………………Can it?????????? :(

  6. Perhaps it’s just bad wording on their part. Personally I think a title something like The message of the tragedy of Michael Jacksons life would have been more apt, given that he lived what looked like a sad, lonely, sinful and ultimately lost life.

  7. “We are the World” I will give you.

“Bad,” “Dangerous,” and “Beat It” could be talking about the people who wanted Jesus dead?

But, just tell me where in the Bible would this dunderhead pastor find “Billie Jean” and “Dirty Diana”?! :)
