“Gee Brain, what do you want to do tonight?”

There’s been a number of posts and references to the NAR, the 7 Mountain mandate, and the doctrine of “manifest destiny” posted over the last year: (here, herehere, here) As well as a huge amount of info on dominionism or dominionist theology.

There was also a recent post on Washington DC’s ‘The Family”, which included some very pertinent information, links and video clip. The comment was made that “The Family”  appears to base its beliefs in dominionism and the doctrine of manifest destiny.

Guess who owns the “C Street House” where their private meetings take place? As Gomer Pyle use to say “Surprise, Surprise!”

Its owned by the DC branch of Youth With a Mission (YWAM), who’s founder Loren Cunningham (along with Bill Bright) outlined the vision for Christian world-control, which gave birth to the 7 Mountain mandate we see being pushed today.

In 1975 Bill Bright, founder of Campus Crusade and Loren Cunningham, founder of Youth With a Mission, had lunch together. God simultaneously gave each of them a message to give to the other: “The culture is shaped by seven mind-molders or mountains in society. If we can influence each of these areas for Christ, we will win the culture of our nation.”

Coincidence?

*See Bruce Wilson’s article and video, Ensign’s “C Street House” Owned By Group Touting Plans For Christian World Control

So, is NAR member Rick Joyner’s newest endeavor, an organization which seeks to affect everything from the “foundations that society is built upon” to “politics and government” a coincidence also? (see, Rick Joyner’s newest organization)

I don’t think so…

Think what you want, but there’s a group of people out there, some not even personally connected ‘yet’ that have the same goal. To infiltrate every part of society and government. And folks, its not for the sake of the Kingdom of God or Christ, its to attain power–personal power.

Something to think about…

  1. The plot thickens.

  2. You are absolutely correct and we need to continue to get this word out – especially to mainstream Christians. These people are dominionists and are NOT to be confused with those of us who revere a loving and compassionate God.

They grow their movement and congregations through fear and slick professional speakers (touted as “Dr”/preacher/prophet) spewing out fire and brimstone speeches. I am an associate researcher with Bruce Wilson and we must wake up mainstream Christians so that we recognize them as they literally “steeple-jack” congregations and woo young people with their big screen monitors and Christian rock bands.

These dominionist congregations number in the millions in the United States alone and continue to grow. Let’s all remain vigilant so that they do not succeed in their 7 Mountains mission.

  3. As I have said or alluded to before in comments in here, I had an office in Washington D.C. years ago. My group were closely tied with both of the groups and persons in this article, “Youth….” and “Campus…”. I have been in gatherings on the Hill with both Loren Cunningham and Bill Bright. I can attest to the fact that that motivation is correct about them and the novelty of the serendipity of their chance encounter that brought about that ministry. I can say also, with some glee, [must be that lingering pride alive yet in my flesh], that we quickly distanced ourselves from that motivation realizing the Scriptures are the best basis in guiding one for building a “work” of God. In fact, if God is not building “the work”, why be so stupid as to think He would find acceptable what we are “doing for the Lord”?

“….Unless the LORD builds the house, those who build it labor in vain. Unless the LORD watches over the city, the watchman stays awake in vain….”

It can be made plain with other Scripture, but it cannot be made “more” plain than this what Paul writes here:

Eph 1:9 making known to us the mystery of his will, according to his purpose, which he set forth in Christ
Eph 1:10 as a plan for the fullness of time, to unite all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.

I believe their error, that started out innocent enough with those two, a sincerity for the Lord of the Harvest to make available to Congressmen and for other nations’ ambassadors, a “fellowship house” they can come to and have a respite, a time of refreshing and rest, from the hard work of governance at the Nation’s capital or from the ambassadorial duties they bear for their countries, has now grown and has blinded them that they don’t realize what we do when we step back and “see” just how diabolical this mission has become against the Truth and Christ’s true dominionist theology!

Jesus said it plainly also when He said this about bringing everything under subjection to the counsel of the Council of God:

Joh 16:7 Nevertheless, I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Helper will not come to you. But if I go, I will send him to you.
Joh 16:8 And when he comes, he will convict the world concerning sin and righteousness and judgment:
    Joh 16:9 concerning sin, because they do not believe in me;
    Joh 16:10 concerning righteousness, because I go to the Father, and you will see me no longer;
Joh 16:11 concerning judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.
Joh 16:12 “I still have many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now.
Joh 16:13 When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.
Joh 16:14 He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you.
Joh 16:15 All that the Father has is mine; therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.

If ever there was a plain meaning that this dominionist theology is in error, those words at John 16 should establish it? Can anyone find their dominionist theology in those “THREE” things the Holy Ghost will do and continues doing even in our day? Number one, He convicts people and sentences them to eternal damnation. Why? Because they simply do not believe they have a need for the forgiveness offered because of their sins so as to receive a washing in the Blood of Christ! Number two, those who do believe they have the need are reckoned as Righteous in Christ because they have been given His Faith to believe and they humble themselves to receive the forgiveness for their sins by the Blood of Christ! And finally, number three, for the life of me, I just cannot understand why people think the devils are just going to lay down their lies and stop fighting the Church and Truth at any time in history now or ever while time exists? Here we see Jesus tell us a different sort of dominionist theology story, which, if you have not as yet come to comprehend it, it isn’t the sort of dominionist theology this group teach about; foolishly and sadly, bringing about destruction upon their unstable souls who will receive it as the Truth and believe it is the Truth, when it is not and begin to conform to it’s destructive nature instead of repent and receive the Gospel message, becoming conformed to Christ in the world!

The picture Jesus leaves us with is not pleasant. It is “true” dominionist theology nevertheless:::>

Mat 24:22 And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.
Mat 24:23 Then if anyone says to you, ‘Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There he is!’ do not believe it.
Mat 24:24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.
Mat 24:25 See, I have told you beforehand.
Mat 24:26 So, if they say to you, ‘Look, he is in the wilderness,’ do not go out. If they say, ‘Look, he is in the inner rooms,’ do not believe it.
Mat 24:27 For as the lightning comes from the east and shines as far as the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

    • Excellent points Michael!!

In fact, if God is not building “the work”, why be so stupid as to think He would find acceptable what we are “doing for the Lord”?

Amen. And that is the biggest ‘rub’ when it comes to dominonist theology: Doing these things by the arm of the flesh and calling it ‘by the Spirit of God’

  4. Please forgive me folks..i realized i didn’t have the correct link to Bruce Wilson’s article posted, but instead just had the link to the video.

I hope you’ll check out his article now that its fixed.

    Its well worth the read.

  5. I was not aware that the 7 mountain mandate came in part from these two ministries (well, the leaders of them, to say the least).

    I find that rather troubling…

    • Its interesting how things seem to be connected William.

  6. Brilliant Post! I like it. Good to see other people alerting the flock. It’s a terrible shame that so many good well intentioned ‘Christians’ are being deceived…but knowing this: 2 Tim 4: 3 “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” It’s hard enough trying to tell some of the brethren that they are being deceived by false teachers, it’s another thing entirely when they reject the warning and ‘CHOOSE’ to believe the lie…truly sad. Again, further proof of the Great Falling Away and the Lord’s soon return. Stay centered on God’s word PJ. R U following me on Twitter, your name looks familiar? I’ll check… I got this link via Sarah Foley…on FB.

No, i haven’t delved into twitter yet mijadedios, that’s a ‘new’ territory i’ll have to explore!

It’s a terrible shame that so many good well intentioned ‘Christians’ are being deceived..

Amen. I’m afraid its only growing to grow worse.

    • So there’s this thing called intention.

When is good intention not enough to be saved?
At what point must we have more than merely good intentions, but also have the appropriation of what the MOST HIGH has called us to do?

(These are not entirely rhetorical questions. Feedback and thoughts would be awesome.)

  7. …or rather…what we have been called to actually be.

  8. Well William, my take on it is that there is something called good intentions but it is a worldly concept. Even my best intentions if examined in the light of scripture, and held up to what God intends for me and for others, are shown to be motivated by self because my heart is deceitful above all things and so all intentions in the end have to be surrendered, given up and only then will God use me and enable me and equip me for the daily walk in humility.

  9. Thanks for the “heads up”. I suspected YWAM. I wasn’t sure about Bill Bright some of his stuff just didn’t seem right either…Lord, help us to be good Bereans we really need to know the scriptures and our Lord intimately. Everywhere you turn there is false teachers and teachings; they are so insidious! My sons have professed Christianity, they are in Christian colleges but, God help them to discern false teaching! (My constant prayer)
