I’ve fallen behind in posting the links to Steve Lumbley’s excellent series.
Below are links to those I’ve missed.
Parts seven and eight (which im listening to now) are especially interesting as it speaks to the identity of the 2 Witnesses in Revelation 11, which is being discussed in a post here.
If time allows listen to them all but in particular listen to segments seven and eight.
Audio (7) The Two Witnesses – Who are they? – What is their ministry?
Audio (8) More on the two witnesses, when and where do they witness?
Audio (5) Multiple fulfillments of prophecy and the Abomination of Desolation

"If the professed convert distinctly and deliberately declares that he knows the Lord's will but does not mean to attend to it, you are not to pamper his presumption, but it is your duty to assure him that he is not saved. Do not suppose that the Gospel is magnified or God glorified by going to the worldlings and telling them that they may be saved at this moment by simply accepting Christ as their Savior, while they are wedded to their idols, and their hearts are still in love with sin. If I do so I tell them a lie, pervert the Gospel , insult Christ, and turn the grace of God into lasciviousness."

I think the 2 witnesses are Enoch and Elijah — neither died but were taken up into heaven.
i think the preacher interpret most of Revelation as symbolic, like 2 witnesses representing law and grace, but i think rev is both literal and symbolic, the difficult part is deciding where to interpret as symbolic and where is literal.
The woman in Rev 11 and Rev 17 is clearly symbolic.
But I think other verses can be interpreted literally:
For example the judgment of turning the sea into blood in Rev 8:8 I believe is literal, because it really literally happens in times of Moses when God judged Egypt (Exo 7:19). Similarly the darkness that struck Egypt (Exo 10:22) is literal darkness, so we expect the same in Revelation 16:10, i don’t think we can interpret all as symbolic.
