Rick Hiebert has posted an interesting update on the recent activities of Todd Bentley:
What is new with Canadian evangelist Todd Bentley, trying to make a comeback in the U.S., after the collapse of the Lakeland “revival”?
Well, Bentley gave evidence a few weeks ago that he is up to his old tricks. But I would think that publicly repenting of using “hype” and then, a few minutes later, using hype again would be a bit brazen, even for him.
I refer to his “Kingdom Authority and Healing” talk of April 10, at the Morningstar complex in the United States….
See Bene Diction: Todd Bentley repents of “hype”, only to use hype moments later

"If the professed convert distinctly and deliberately declares that he knows the Lord's will but does not mean to attend to it, you are not to pamper his presumption, but it is your duty to assure him that he is not saved. Do not suppose that the Gospel is magnified or God glorified by going to the worldlings and telling them that they may be saved at this moment by simply accepting Christ as their Savior, while they are wedded to their idols, and their hearts are still in love with sin. If I do so I tell them a lie, pervert the Gospel , insult Christ, and turn the grace of God into lasciviousness."

Thanks for the mention PJ…
He even misleads within the same sentence now!
Todd Bentley is both the snake and the snake charmer , he is absolutely dellussional about the events of the past couple of years. As if his immediate past history is not bad enough , he has managed to ensnare some high profile individuals along the way to his ” restoration”. The whole sorry bussiness is a snakepit of deception.
And so Tatted Todd (with or without his pet Angel Emma) hits the comeback trail –
“SHEEKA-BOOM-BAH! BAM!!!!!”
This is such a sickening thing!
This guy, Todd Bentley, is a charlatan.
It is an understatement to say Todd is a snake and a snake charmer, which he clearly is and more.
I couldn’t watch the whole video it made me sick. But I want to focus on the first part that I did watch and then for those of you who were not curious enough to go to the “online” application for internship, I will spell it out for you.
First thing is he is “selling” you an opportunity to be selected to one of the 12 or maybe just 5 intern positions with him, wow. What do you have to do in order to be considered for internship with Todd Bentley? You fill out an initial application and send with it a $25.00 “non” refundable check to FreshFire ministries. Yep, you pay to be put on a list of possible interns so that you can be elevated to the glorious status of anointed one with power and the Holy Ghost! That makes you special. Why? You have what it takes to be one of God’s anointed ones according to Todd! Wow, wow.
Then, you attach with your application and $25.00 a photo of yourself and send it to FreshFire Ministries.
Of this pool of applicants, “if” you are one of the selected ones, you will sent another application to fill out, yes, another application and with this elevated position above others, who were not selected, you also send an additional $2500.00 first payment by August of this year. And then after that you send an additional $2500.00 totaling a mere $5025.00 and are sent arrangements to be brought to some place for your internship with Todd and other spiritual leaders. That is just to get you in the door so you can live with Todd Bentley and be personally discipled by him! Wow, wow, wow!
Now, let’s compare Todd’s calling above with the Creator’s way of doing things when He calls you forth to ministry:
Luk 5:1 On one occasion, while the crowd was pressing in on him to hear the word of God, he was standing by the lake of Gennesaret,
Luk 5:2 and he saw two boats by the lake, but the fishermen had gone out of them and were washing their nets.
Luk 5:3 Getting into one of the boats, which was Simon’s, he asked him to put out a little from the land. And he sat down and taught the people from the boat.
Luk 5:4 And when he had finished speaking, he said to Simon, “Put out into the deep and let down your nets for a catch.”
Luk 5:5 And Simon answered, “Master, we toiled all night and took nothing! But at your word I will let down the nets.”
Luk 5:6 And when they had done this, they enclosed a large number of fish, and their nets were breaking.
Luk 5:7 They signaled to their partners in the other boat to come and help them. And they came and filled both the boats, so that they began to sink.
Luk 5:8 But when Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus’ knees, saying, “Depart from me, for I am a sinful man, O Lord.”
Luk 5:9 For he and all who were with him were astonished at the catch of fish that they had taken,
Luk 5:10 and so also were James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon. And Jesus said to Simon, “Do not be afraid; from now on you will be catching men.”
Luk 5:11 And when they had brought their boats to land, they left everything and followed him.
Now if you followed that carefully, what would you say is the difference between being called by Todd and being called by Jesus?
Well I will tell you, but first, let me point to a similar “bent” by the Apostle Paul:
Act 20:31 Therefore be alert, remembering that for three years I did not cease night or day to admonish everyone with tears.
Act 20:32 And now I commend you to God and to the word of his grace, which is able to build you up and to give you the inheritance among all those who are sanctified.
Act 20:33 I coveted no one’s silver or gold or apparel.
Act 20:34 You yourselves know that these hands ministered to my necessities and to those who were with me.
Act 20:35 In all things I have shown you that by working hard in this way we must help the weak and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he himself said, ‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’”
Ok, so we see Todd craftily seeks after your money and time temporarily, all the while we see that Jesus and Paul are providing for you out their personal means as they see the work of the Holy Spirit upon your life. Hmmmmm, what a difference?
Let me ask you then, who do you want to follow? Someone who takes that that is yours, or someone who indeed equips you, blesses you, enriches your life and prepares you for service of preaching the Gospel of the Kingdom to the poor, the sick, the downtrodden, the lame, the halt, the blind, the rich, the, the, the?
Here’s another way of looking at it “God’s” way:
Psa 1:1 Blessed is the man who walks not in the counsel of the wicked, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
Psa 1:2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD, and on his law he meditates day and night.
Psa 1:3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water that yields its fruit in its season, and its leaf does not wither. In all that he does, he prospers.
and
Jer 17:7 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD.
Jer 17:8 He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
and
Tit 2:11 For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people,
Tit 2:12 training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age,
Tit 2:13 waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ,
Tit 2:14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works.
and
2Pe 1:2 May grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord.
2Pe 1:3 His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence,
2Pe 1:4 by which he has granted to us his precious and very great promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world because of sinful desire.
2Pe 1:5 For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge,
2Pe 1:6 and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness,
2Pe 1:7 and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.
2Pe 1:8 For if these qualities are yours and are increasing, they keep you from being ineffective or unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.
and
3Jn 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Hmmmmmm, I would say there is a big difference between Todd’s way and God’s, wouldn’t you?
