  1. I am all for loyalty where it is due, but even if these allegations are proven to be true I suspect these three and many more will still defend their ‘leader’ claiming the whole affair to be a set-up.
It was noticeable in the interviews that not one of them mentioned JESUS as their inspiration……only BISHOP. It is very sad and sick.

This is really a red flag. Its what you find in cults. They are all very centered upon THE charismatic leader who meets all the needs of his or her people. I am not saying that this church is a cult, but it certainly appears very cultic.

“Thus saith The Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from The Lord.”

  2. This very interview demonstrates how easy it would be for a trusted leader to violate that trust in his relationships with young people like those being interviewed. Don Lemon did an excellent job of performing this interview and, in the process, of providing some wise counsel to these young people that few would have the insight to provide. It is actually becoming more obvious that this man (Long) is a wolf, even as he casts himself as David fighting Goliath. Just the fact that these young people see him in the light they do is an indication of the false teaching they have received under his ministry. There trust is NOT in the Lord God, their trust, instead, is in this “prophet”. God help them!

  3. Well said Mr Mitchell!

  4. In my opinion, there sat in studio, three more victims of Bishop Long’s “alleged” wrong doing. Don Lemon’s comments along with what appears to be character “testimony” by infatuated members (1st Corinthians 1:1-12,3:1-4) of the congregation leads me to consider that the allegations are factual. I really do hope that I’m wrong for the sake of all involved in this case.

    Very disturbing. :(

Grace and peace be with you all.
