Me

Not much to say..I’m actually pretty boring.
I was born again on November 2nd 1980, and though there have been many time I’ve stumbled, and even some falling down ‘time’, I’m still on the path, counting on Jesus to help me continue until the end of the road.
The photo of granny calling for help above? That’s how I see myself..
Making a mess of things many times and calling on Jesus for help ![]()
He always answers my call…
I’m not a theologian nor am I someone who has it all figured out..guess you could call me a perpetual student, for even at my age I’m still learning about our wonderful Lord and God & plan to continue in the ‘School of Christ’ until leaving this world!

J,
Is this your blog Sis? I saw the link you left at W1 and thought nI would stop in. It looks serene, I love it Sis.
BTW, your “wireless” in the pic is truly wireless! LOL!
Love ya J,
YBIC,
Michael
Hi M!!
So glad to see you stopped by. Yes this is my little place to just write about the journey God has me [us all] on…
Yes, i noticed granny would TRULY have to be calling Jesus, for she couldn’t get through to anyone else but Him on that ‘wire-less’ phone. AHAHA…
Great site
I have just started a blog and have come across yours
Very inspiring - keep up the great work
Andrew

Hi this is a beautiful site I was wondering if you can tell me how to change my player’s songs to play what I want to hear? Thanks Lisa
Hi Lisa….thank you for the kind words.
I take it u have sonific on your page? If so all u do is log in at sonific and pick what music you want from oodles of pages..or do a search for a particular one. Once u find what u want to use…just click beside it where it says make a widget.
The rest it leads u through…its easy.
do you have a blog?
God bless…

Just so ya know, I came back to the Lord in early 1972. I, like the Israelites, have wandered off the path into various wildernesses many times over the last 35 yr but I would say at 56, I am like pj, still learning, and grateful to God for His patience with me - but there has been so many wasted years as a result of my allowing myself to be sidetracked by others, by the enemy, and by my own blindness. I pray more and more for the prayer of Eph. 1, to be manifested in me - that He will “give unto me the Spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him …” . I believe we are nearing the close of the last chapter, and want to be close to Him to avoid the traps that will be all to prevalent - and already are. I am curious tho pj as to whether you are reacting the way you are to these signs ie jewels etc - because you really feel that all signs and wonders (especially in the last days as we are) will all be demonic and are tools that the enemy uses to seduce and deceive? or is it possible in your view, that God can and will do signs and wonders too? Are you a cessationist is what I guess I am asking?
Hi Paul…thanks for stopping by…
Yes i’ve had many, what i call, wasted years also. But even during the times i wavered or strayed, the Spirit of God was still there teaching me: if nothing else, how miserable i was without daily communication with God, and, how imperfect i was and always will be. We can even learn in those bad times my friend.
Not at all Paul…i am a firm believer in the gifts of the Spirit still being needed and active today in believers..and in divine healings, miracles etc..from God. Why do i believe these things today? Because there is scriptural proof of such workings of the Spirit of God, and, Jesus is the same yesterday today, and forever.
What i also believe is that satan will use signs and manifestations too—This is why spiritual discernment is so very important today–The body of Christ needs to first, be a berean…compare everything to God’s Word, and, depend on the Spirit who lives within us to help us discern the true from the false signs.
The biggest mistake we can make is to do one of two things: Without questioning, believe all signs and wonders are of God–or believe all are false/demonic.
God bless…
one of my sisters said almost this same thing to me today… to rely on the Holy Spirit to lead us into all truth and to not rely on men…
I agree with your sister M…
you know God has given to the Church (the body of Christ) teachers:
And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ: Eph.4:11-13
And there some good Godly teachers out there–but even when listening to them we have to use discernment to know if they are teaching correctly from the scriptures–so in the end, the Holy Spirit is our teacher!
Hey there! Did I tell you on another page here, that I love your site. Very, very, good indeed.
And…by the way, happy belated birthday to you! We share the same birthday month…the 16th for me…gosh, i’m getting old. LOL
Don’t feel bad about stumbling around…I DO IT ALL THE TIME.
My latest and greatest failures are worrying so much…worry wart. Worry is lack of faith and sin.
I have to pray a lot over combating the worry problem. Sometimes I feel afraid over world events, and what is to come, but then I just start praying and get relief…until the next time! lol
It’s getting down to the wire, and I pray so hard for all believers, that we stand tall and strong, especially in the face of persecution that some of us may face. It’s that lousy fear factor element, that creeps in and can make us fall, but as long as you, me, and the rest of us keeping getting back up….God will do the rest.
The trials and persecution Christians for 2,000 years have faced, as well as those who face it today in places like China, etc…. helps to inspire strength in me.
Now, i have to remind myself to follow what I just said. he he. I won’t reveal ALL my other faults and stumblings here, because you just may laugh.
Much agape love to you sister in Christ!
Keep up the fantastic blogging you do on this site.
Thanks for stopping by at Spiritual Pathways Ministries and I will be stopping by here more as well.

Hello PJ
I’m so feeling your blog…especially your insights on prayer? I’d like to ask your permission to link your blog to mine and also ask if I can “borrow” your insight on granny–and that wisdom quote on prayer adding it to my blog–(sharing that I got it from your sight and was inspired). That granny photo is SO ME! Oh my! But it is me indeed because I’m a sinner but quite equally because I’ve been ignorant of satan’s devices. I’ve allowed him to be an accomplice to my flesh–instigating causing me to forget God’s promises, then leaving me in a huge mess like granny there! LOL! Anywho…I’d appreciate some feedback from you regarding my blog. http://fewwordsfromtish.blogspot.com/
I found your site doing a google on Juanita Bynum as I heard that she was on Divorce court doing her personal proceedings there. But as I suspected those people were not telling me the truth. I see differently that she is simply promoting herself. Both are equally grieving. Anywho, I saw your blog there and decided to click and now I’m commenting as I’m so delighted to see all your resources and the “range’ of resources. You seem to be balanced and founded on prayer. I believe sound biblical doctrine leads one to pray much in super dependency.
Okay gotta run…..will be in touch as I will scroll by.
Hi Latisha!
You have a great blog..i read on it earlier tonight.
Listen, you take anything you’d like from here…photos, articles etc….ok?
We’re sisters and on the same road sweety; The road which will lead us home to be with our Lord someday.
One of the biggest pleasures about having this blog is meeting other Christians, and knowing some day i will see them face to face. Now that you’ve dropped in, i can look forward to seeing you!
God bless
