Great Damage: The Gift of Discernment Used in the Flesh

Spiritual discernment is the grace given by God to see into the unseen; it is a gift of the Spirit, given to perceive that which is normally veiled. But to spiritually see that which is veiled we must first have the veil from our own hearts removed. If we do not, we will presume we are operating in true discernment when in truth we are seeing through the veil of a critical spirit.

There is a false discernment that is based on self-righteousness, mistrust, suspicion, and fear. You can recognize this type of flesh-led discernment by the coldness around it. False discernment may even be packaged in a type of love or concern, but it does nor originate in love. False discernment is always slow to hear, quick to speak, and quick to anger”
