John Crowder and ‘Native Trance Holes’

Is this guy becoming more weird or what? I have never seen anyone which claims Christianity attempt to incorporate so many non-Christian religions and pagan practices into their weird mystical beliefs, as John Crowder does.  I’m not going to post this latest video clip, because to be frank I don’t want it here. But check it out if you’d like…

  1. Pantheists indeed…just like George Barna said (three posts previous). Crowder even tried to impart an “anointing” for transubstantiation. Wow…

Yes, he’s getting weirder; he’s walking down that road just like Kim Clement. He’s probably been emboldened by the response and idol worship he received at the recent New Ecstatics Conference in Santa Cruz, California. Pretty much all the usual YouTube “suspects” were there, falling at his feet. If anyone is interested (and has a stomach of steel), several dozen clips from that event can be found here, including more blasphemous communion video footage:

  2. When i watch these Crowder clips i never know if im to laugh or cry!

This one was as bizarre as the one taped in the graveyard from a few months back…maybe more so.

He’s probably been emboldened by the response and idol worship he received at the recent New Ecstatics Conference in Santa Cruz, California.

Did you read at the recent newsletter link? Apparently he and his ministry are moving to California.

    Look out west coast!

    • I know what you mean, PJ, about not knowing whether to laugh or cry when you see these things. I also thought of the graveyard necromancy clip when evaluating this latest clip and his latest trends of even more weirdness.

Indeed, look out west coast! I had already seen their video last week announcing their move to California. A couple of their YouTube junkie fans are apparently considering moving with them. I saw a number of the clips taken from the conference, and based on the clips it didn’t appear that any significant “outbreaks” had occurred, i.e. to warrant a move there. It seemed more like extravagant hype than anything, since these folks had been working themselves into a frenzy for several weeks over the chance to rub shoulders (and whatever else) with John Crowder.

Then I saw their video from last week (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3PMywdafQzQ&feature=channel_page) and Crowder and Dunn made all kinds of claims that can hardly be seen from the other videos put out so far. For example, they claim that a guy was blown out of his wheelchair by the glory of God. Um, no, I saw a fairly lengthy clip of him struggling to walk around a little bit, and he merely said, “I’ve never walked LIKE THIS before.” It seems they picked up a few tips from Todd Bentley on how to embellish claims of miracles.

  3. “If you’re going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair”…
Anyone remember that song. All of these ‘mystics’ are not Christian, but New Age, like the hippies of the 60’s and 70’s. No wonder they want to move to California.

  4. How is this wolf getting near the sheep PJ.
What churches are allowing them in?
How are ministers falling for this, the enemy activity is so overt!
I can understand New Agers etc. lapping this sort of stuff up but the Christian Church?
My flabber is well and truly gassted!

    • The wolves are gaining access to the sheep and young lambs Gina, because the under-shepherds [pastors, elders, etc] are not doing their jobs in equipping the flock.

And haven’t been doing their jobs for years.

We can’t discount the truth also which is many of these under-shepherds are deceived themselves.

Our protection in these days of rapidly growing apostasy is to follow ONLY AFTER the Head Shepherd–Jesus. To not forsake the word of God for myths and fantasy’s. To stay upon the straight and narrow road sister–following our loving Master Jesus… (praise His name!)..

He will keep us from the wolves within and without if we hold to him…

  5. That’s a good question Gina. My flabber is well and truly gassted too. LOL! (love the clever wordsmithery)

Satan is working overtime lulling pastors to sleep; making them think this is part of the “need to be culturally relevant” that has been hammered in over the past decade. Either that, or most of these churches have pastors who are ignorant of scripture, obtaining their “preachy papers” from the “Bible” schools, “seminaries” of the NAR oriented ministries. Or just plain ignorant.

  6. SOMEONE STOP THE MADNESS!!!

  7. Gina,

ever heard of the “frog” and the boiling water experiment?

If you put a frog in a pan of “cold” water and bring it to a slow boil the frog will stay in the water and boil to death.

If you put a frog in a pan of “hot” water he will jump right out.

Crowder is a frog swimming in a pan of slowly boiling water with a bunch of other frogs that simply don’t know the danger they are all in!

I guess this nutcake is indeed nutty! Fruitless!

Did you catch the “twist” to these verses:

Rom 6:3 Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Rom 6:4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death, in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the Father, we too might walk in newness of life.

No Crowder, when we go down, we go down to “death”, not revelation. It is not until we too are “made” alive that we might walk in newness of life.

Those indians, and I am one of them so I can speak directly to the foolishness now, when they go down, they go down into something else, to a mystic “experience” down there and they then come up and bring forth that “experience” and we are now led to believe that is a sign of newness of life? Hmmmmmmm! No, rather that is a dead man walking and talking death, if you were to ask me.

Oh, go ahead, ask me then! “:)

  8. Watching these video’s makes me think of a poem I learnt as a child called ‘Matilda’ one of the verses goes something like this;

    MATILDA told such Dreadful Lies,
    It made one Gasp and Stretch one’s Eyes;
Her Aunt, who, from her Earliest Youth,
Had kept a Strict Regard for Truth,
    Attempted to Believe Matilda:
The effort very nearly killed her,

Mr Crowder has a Matilda effect on me!

Going slightly off post if I may, in one of the videos there is talk of rolling in the butter can any one enlighten me what this means please. Maybe it’s a generational thing but I have absolutely no idea what they are talking about, the biblical significance if there is one eludes me?

    • Rolling in butter… LOL!!!

I’m older then dirt so can’t tell you Gina…if its a generational thing its one i’ve not heard. More likely its just more of Crowder’s made up spiritual nonsense.
