Socialism and Homosexuality, “plus”…

Now, I don’t pretend to be an expert on Socialism, but in the books and paper’s I have read on the topic, never once did I see it mentioned that there was a correlation between Socialism and the sin of homosexuality. (See, Socialism)

But this politician tries to make the case for believing there is..

Rep. Steve King: Same-Sex Marriage Is ‘A Purely Socialist Concept’

KING: …There also would be no rational argument against group marriage. And I just take this along the rationale even further and would say if relationships between individuals cannot be prohibited by the state legislature then there is no ban that can actually be constitutional that would ban group marriage. And it wouldn’t have to be for reasons of, let me say, love or lust. It could be reasons of profitability or avoiding taxes or accessing benefits.

So in the end this is something that has to come with a, if there’s a push for a socialist society, a society where the foundations of individual rights and liberties are undermined and everybody is thrown together, living collectively off of one pot of resources earned by everyone. That is, this is one of the goals they have to go to is same-sex marriage because it has to plow through marriage in order to get to their goal. They want public affirmation. They want access to public funds and resources. Eventually all those resources will be pooled because that’s the direction we’re going. And not only is it a radical social idea, it is a purely socialist concept in the final analysis.

This type of pretzel-logic leaves me feeling like I’ve just read a Kim Clement prophecy; in need of a couple Excedrin.

Homosexuality is sin: –Romans 1:24-27

Socialism is: “Any of various theories or systems of social organization in which the means of producing and distributing goods is owned collectively or by a centralized government that often plans and controls the economy.”

Sorry, I don’t see the correlation…

Anyway, forget that; while reading this bizarre quote above, I recalled a recent (very interesting) post at GCM Watch.

Pastor Foster asked a serious question: (and didn’t need to tie it to Socialism LOL)

If you woke up tomorrow and found out that every Christian denomination, church and parachurch organization in America had declared homosexuality was NOT a sin and  homosexuals were fully accepted in all areas of the church without any  restrictions, what would you do?

You can check it out (along with the comments) here: Change is coming, so what will you do?

  1. Please correct the spelling in your title. Also, I wonder if these Republicans are simply trying to make Christians look ignorant and dangerous on purpose. I am almost 100% certain that it was one of George W. Bush’s primary job duties, and that he did an excellent job of it.

    • I wonder if these Republicans are simply trying to make Christians look ignorant and dangerous on purpose.

      Sometimes i wonder too.

If im not mistaken King also spoke at the recent Value Voters summit.

  2. Good comparison, relating King’s language to that of Kim Clement when he’s in “prophecy mode.” At the end of his quote, PJ, I started looking to see if you had been able to interpret it somehow. I was relieved to see that I wasn’t the only one perplexed. Oh my…

On the question posed by Pastor Foster, I’m inclined to think that I would search out genuine believers who are involved in underground fellowships. That is, I would spend the rest of my time in the US among the house churches. Would some be called to remain in the false denominations and churches for a time in order to be voices of truth? Perhaps.

The immediate comparison that comes to mind is the situation in China. The government has promoted the compromised Three-Self Patriotic Movement churches in order to lure away genuine believers who may be weary of the persecution that characterizes the underground churches. One only needs to read “The Heavenly Man,” though, to get a strong sense for what generally happens to the faith of any who get mixed up with these TSPM churches.

By the way, PJ, I just wanted to point out that there is a small typo in the title of this post (“homosexulaity” instead of “homosexuality”). Perhaps it can be corrected if it’s not too late.

      HA! Adam i wouldn’t bother trying! 🙂

I read a book in which a pastor said if you are left confused after hearing a sermon–not just over a point, but left at the end not having a clue what the preacher just said, that more then likely you just listened to a demon “preach”. The same could be applied to this quote from King, or a Clement “prophecy”–

On the question posed by Pastor Foster, I’m inclined to think that I would search out genuine believers who are involved in underground fellowships.

      Me too.

If the Lord tarries much longer we all may find ourselves in the position of having to “come out” of our denomination/ Churches. Not necessarily just over the homosexual issue either..

  3. Thanks Job and Adam, for catching the typo in the title. That’s what i get for not double checking before hitting publish… 🙂

Music from Broken Chords

Down in the human heart, crush'd by the tempter, Feelings lie buried that grace can restore; Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness Chords that were broken will vibrate once more. From the Hymn "Rescue the Perishing" by Fanny J. Crosby

I Was a Teenage Dispensationalist

It's the end (of the end) of the world as we know it...
