Who Said It?

“..it’s going to change lives. It is a life changing, and I think planet course-altering event.” …”The other thing that’s going to happen – it’s either going to be something that everybody ignores, or, I swear to you, and I mean this sincerely, there’s a possibility a pillar of fire appears.”

“Somebody sent this to me…he said, ‘I’ve looked into this, and I think this might be right.’ …he said, ‘I believe (this) may be, may be, a fulfillment of Zechariah prophecy’…

Aw come on, you know…

  1. Beck???😛

  2. No. Sounds like Robertson to me…

  3. Gotta be Kim Clement…your fave and mine!

  4. Indhirap, you’re right, the statements were made by Glenn Beck (on his radio show) concerning his rally in Jerusalem.🙂

See: Restoring Hyperbole: Beck’s Jerusalem Rally Will Be “A Planet Course-Altering Event”

Glenn Beck’s photo should be next to the term “self-aggrandizing” in the dictionary. Any time now im expecting to read he believes himself to be the fulfillment of the second coming of Christ. And i say that in all seriousness, for this guy is truly deceived.

  5. The hero-savior and American Zionism shake hands with Ecumenicalism. It’s our mission.

Beck has received so much success and adoration from not only his own people, the Mormons, but a vast network of “Conservative” Christians, He sees this as his Mission, along with exposing the NWO, Soros, and the various involvements in the Radical left by American Politicians.

God and Country, and his passion to defend The Constitution led Him to what many have assumed; God established America, with the Bible at her helm. Then, God will bless America, and Israel, because He founded her. This has morphed into a Theo-Political Gospel; AMERICAN ZIONISM, so the next logical step would be the defense of Israel in every facet of American support.

This has created a form of Dominionism..to proclaim, expose, and stand for these ancient principles of the American Constitution and the root of Israel’s glory…ZION!..That little hill upon the Ancient City where King David ruled and reigned in so much victory. This is why the epitome of the Meeting of Meetings must be in Jerusalem, and he sees himself as the Apostle of this movement, no doubt.

We are witnessing a new, “righteous” form of political/Ecumenicism..a unity around God without Christ…that in the end, will accept all comers to join in it’s righteous cause. I think that his excitement about the prophesy through Zacharia was fueled by a bit of giddy narcissism…rather than the Holy Spirit.

There is no Holy Spirit in this movement, but a mandate to honor a cause, promoting the well being of a people over another people.. This is God’s job ONLY, and God ONLY promotes Jesus, and His cause and Righteousness.. The true and living Church of His, are the only people that ever will be promoted, be them Jew, Gentile, Black, or Arabic……and maybe some Northern Blends of Welshmen too…+:).

You are covered by His Blood, and born the second time…are you are not…It doesn’t matter what flag you wave. One more thing about “Holy Jerusalem”. It is not, in itself, holy at all. God the Father call it; “Sodom and Egypt”…[corruption and bondage]

,”And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascendeth out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.

    8. And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified. [Rev.:11]

I’m guessing that this is the passage Beck is referring to with it’s reference to consuming fire. He’ll be waiting a while for that pillar to come down upon that meeting, I’m afraid.

“And the governors of Judah shall say in their heart, The inhabitants of Jerusalem shall be my strength in the LORD of hosts their God.

    6. In that day will I make the governors of Judah like an hearth of fire among the wood, and like a torch of fire in a sheaf; and they shall devour all the people round about, on the right hand and on the left: and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.

    7. The LORD also shall save the tents of Judah first, that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem do not magnify themselves against Judah.

. 8. In that day shall the LORD defend the inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as David; and the house of David shall be as God, as the angel of the LORD before them.

    9. And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem.

    10. And I will pour upon the house of David, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced, and they shall mourn for him, as one mourneth for his only son, and shall be in bitterness for him, as one that is in bitterness for his firstborn.

    11. In that day shall there be a great mourning in Jerusalem, as the mourning of Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.”

    • We are witnessing a new, “righteous” form of political/Ecumenicism..a unity around God without Christ…that in the end, will accept all comers to join in it’s righteous cause. I think that his excitement about the prophesy through Zacharia was fueled by a bit of giddy narcissism…rather than the Holy Spirit.

This was a very good way of putting it. Thanks for the post.

  6. Beck thinks he’s fulfilling a 19th century Mormon prophecy that the USA would come to the brink of collapse and a Mormon will save them from destruction

  7. Doh – knew the answer – too late!
    a pillar of fire
why where is he going… ha ha

  8. I think he’s co-opted the Constitution as a deceptive way to dupe gullible evangelicals who now think he’s just like them. What discerning Christian will follow a Mormon leader? Also, wherever he goes, the Mormon missionaries follow to bat clean-up. You think they’d let an opportunity like this go by? I don’t. This man is dangerous.

Music from Broken Chords

Down in the human heart, crush'd by the tempter, Feelings lie buried that grace can restore; Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness Chords that were broken will vibrate once more. From the Hymn "Rescue the Perishing" by Fanny J. Crosby
