Wagner Admits NAR Presence At Perry Rally A Sign Of Its Growing Influence

Interesting…

During our coverage of the massive prayer rally organized by Gov. Rick Perry last month, one of the things we noticed was the large number of people associated with the New Apostolic Reformation who were involved in organizing, endorsing, or speaking at the event, including prominent NAR leader C. Peter Wagner.

Today, Voice of America posted a wide-ranging twenty minute interview with Wagner in which he discussed everything from Seven Mountains theology to spiritual warfare to the role of NAR in Perry’s prayer rally…..

  1. Wagner states that nar theology is traditional mainstream biblical protestantism. Then goes on to say, may be I didn’t take it down exactly but when asked about strategic level spiritual warfare:

we begin the answer is that we believe in satan, we believe satan is a personality and we can go back to how satan began and that with satan there is a huge number of demonic forces, demonic personalities that he controls one way or another and so this is the force of darkness over the earth, started with the garden of eden, satan now has titles in the bible such as the ruler of this world or prince of the power of the air. So satan is very powerful and attached to that are many levels and we see that satan sends certain demonic forces and these would be high ranking ones that bring darkness and evil to segments of society such as cities or neighbourhoods, nations so strategic level spiritual warfare is an attempt to identify these spiritual forces that are bringing darkness and moving them back with the power of the kingdom of God so that they will not have influence in society but rather the blessing and the light of the kingdom of God.

Well that doesn’t sound like traditional mainstream or biblical to me.
I would like to ask Mr Wagner about his success rate. Show me the nation, city, region, neighbourhood, street, house, one single person where strategic level spiritual warfare has actually worked.
    No, thought not.

    • I read a revealing statement early this week concerning the goal of dominion theology.

Christians have an obligation, a mandate, a commission, a holy responsibility to reclaim the land for Jesus Christ-to have dominion in the civil structures, just as in every other aspect of life and godliness.

But it is dominion that we are after. Not just a voice.

It is dominion we are after. Not just influence.

It is dominion we are after. Not just equal time.

It is dominion we are after.

World conquest. That’s what Christ has commissioned us to accomplish. We must win the world with the power of the Gospel. And we must never settle for anything less.

If Jesus Christ is indeed Lord, as the Bible says, and if our commission is to bring the land into subjection to His Lordship, as the Bible says, then all our activities, all our witnessing, all our preaching, all our craftsmanship, all our stewardship, and all our political action will aim at nothing short of that sacred purpose.

Thus, Christian politics has as its primary intent the conquest of the land – of men, families, institutions, bureaucracies, courts, and governments for the Kingdom of Christ. It is to reinstitute the authority of God’s Word as supreme over all judgments, over all legislation, over all declarations, constitutions, and confederations. (From “Changing Of The Guard” by George Grant, who served as the executive director of Coral Ridge Ministries and a close associate of the late D. James Kennedy)

The above is from an article at RWW, “It Is Dominion We Are After. World Conquest … And We Must Never Settle For Anything Less”

      Scaryūüė¶

Revelation 17 tells us of the (coming) of the ‘woman’ and the ‘beast’. In my opinion, this is where the spreading of dominion theology is heading; in the uniting of the woman (apostate religion) with the beast (a one-world government, politically, militarily and economically).

Like i said, it’s only my opinion. But if im right, biblical Christians who have not fallen prey to dominionism (and all it’s ‘cousins’) will be viewed as the enemy.

  2. Jan, it may not be biblical or truly Christian, but it is mainline and it is quite protestant.

This is the same impulse from the very beginning when man heeded not God and destroyed Eden. We can see it in Rome with the cults of the Emperor, we see it in Medieval Europe with the dominance of Rome, we see it in England in the reign of the Tudors and Stuarts, we see it in Communist Russia with the pantheon of quasi-gods and we see it in America.

Protestant, Muslim, Catholic, Buddhist, Hindu, whatever. A Sacral structure is the whore that mounts the beast. It is ever worse when it tries to bear the name of our King, the True Sovereign of the world. Yet the Church will remain, even when it is a small gathering of 2 or 3 in the woods. The world will keep on being the world, even if it has false prophets, false apostles and false christs; it’s passing away.

  3. “A religious movement that seeks to become a dominant influence in society and government is gaining ground in America. But since several key pastors of the New Apostolic Reformation shared the stage at a prayer rally last month with a leading Republican presidential candidate, the movement has also generated controversy.”….article.

Believe me, before long time has a way of catching up with you. These very one and same NAR “pastors” also shared the stage with one of their own prominent Evangelists, ordaining him as the Elijah to come, They fawned over him , and prophesied grandiose exploits to come….AS this same married evangelist was fornicating with a staff member, stealing cash donations, claiming outrageous lies..[ thirty one resurrections from the dead, and ten thousand healings], and cavorting publically praying to angels, and smoozing with Emma…that female darling imp and with the bags of gold she carried.

They are vividly filmed in this coronation of Todd Bentley, with hundreds of videos exposing them, specifically , as the protectorate of him, and his unclean imp hoard, endorsing him as the prince to come…NAR Coronation below..

It is a “Momentous” occasion, and alignment of the NAR.with the glorious Todd Bentley. Wagner is choking on these words today, but he cannot vomit them back up again. Here, The NAR cements their fate along with the spurious and demonic Bentley., while exposing themselves as foolish and wicked pretenders seeking position and power; IE…false apostles.

Trust me, if you weigh the power of conservative evangelicalism in the Baptist faith alone, as to allegience to Bentley and the NAR….well, they are as shocked as you are I at their outrageous evil….65 million to one. Any politician with a brain, especially one so close to the Presidency as Perry, will wash their hands of these ugly blemishes [ NAR]…quicker than a Texas Cowpod.

If you really want to get Perry’s staff going, [ which has an army of investigative journalists] …send them this….from the NARs fine author and Apostle, Rick Joyner…I call it, Chirichaua Nights…starring…uhhh…starring….the Prince of Geronimo?

They are toast, as far as anyone receiving them now as legitimit; exposed as the satanic power grubbing frauds they are.

  4. Sacralism is the deception, the evil, the aberration; regardless of its particular theology–NAR, Baptist evangelical, whatever. They have more in common than they realize, misunderstanding the nature of the Kingdom, its polar opposition to all the kingdoms of the world. The world will never become the holy. By accepting the dominion mandate, these groups sign on to a common anti-christ agenda, even though they think they are so different. The sacral impulse takes various “styles” depending on the theological traditions of the various groups–Latter Rain, reformed, calvinistic, etc.–but they all will unite over trying to conquer the world for “Christ.”

  5. “…World conquest. That‚Äôs what Christ has commissioned us to accomplish. We must win the world with the power of the Gospel. And we must never settle for anything less.”

    Ha!

Who you gunna believe, him or Him?

    Here is what Jesus taught:

Mat 24:3 As he sat on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately, saying, “Tell us, when will these things be, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the close of the age?”
Mat 24:4 And Jesus answered them, “See that no one leads you astray.
Mat 24:5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.
Mat 24:6 And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for this must take place, but the end is not yet.
Mat 24:7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
Mat 24:8 All these are but the beginning of the birth pains.
Mat 24:9 “Then they will deliver you up to tribulation and put you to death, and you will be hated by all nations for my name’s sake.
Mat 24:10 And then many will fall away and betray one another and hate one another.
Mat 24:11 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.
Mat 24:12 And because lawlessness will be increased, the love of many will grow cold.
Mat 24:13 But the one who endures to the end will be saved.
Mat 24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Mat 24:22 And if those days had not been cut short, no human being would be saved. But for the sake of the elect those days will be cut short.

Mat 24:28 Wherever the corpse is, there the vultures will gather.
Mat 24:29 “Immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun will be darkened, and the moon will not give its light, and the stars will fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken.
Mat 24:30 Then will appear in heaven the sign of the Son of Man, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

NAR’s dominion theory just doesn’t add up to what Our Lord teaches in those verses cited from Matthew 24.

I have a question. If dominionists believe they will have authority over all the humanity of the nations as that citation above implies, cited first, why does it say there in Matthew 24 verse 30 that “all” the tribes of the earth will mourn when the son of Man returns?

Here are a couple more places, one in Hebrews, to lighten our spirits and one in the book of the Revelation to John that basically says the same thing as verse 30, Matthew 24.

Heb 9:27 And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment,
Heb 9:28 so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

Here we learn from those Words cited from Hebrews that only those who are eagerly waiting for His return will not be mourning on that most amazing of days, His second coming, like no other of the days of this creation. One does not eagerly for someone to return and mourn at their return at the same time, now do they?

Now, here, from the Book of the Revelation to John. I wonder why we have such a similarity when it comes to Jesus’ own teaching in the Gospels and these Words to John?

Rev 1:7 Behold, he is coming with the clouds, and every eye will see him, even those who pierced him, and all tribes of the earth will wail on account of him. Even so. Amen.

Now that seems to me to be a far cry from NAR’s dominion theology which I believe can better be described as unregenerate opinionology not mainline Protestant orthodoxy.

Here is what the Bride will be doing on that final day; even up to the very moment of the Trumpet blast that signals His arrival:

Rev 22:17 The Spirit and the Bride say, “Come.” And let the one who hears say, “Come.” And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.

Music from Broken Chords

Down in the human heart, crush'd by the tempter, Feelings lie buried that grace can restore; Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness Chords that were broken will vibrate once more. From the Hymn "Rescue the Perishing" by Fanny J. Crosby
