WND: Pine Trees at Ground Zero a Sign that God Will Destroy USA

My head is spinning after reading Joseph Farah’s article at WND.

Farah and Cahn tell us…..they read occult significance into a couple of details around the redevelopment of Ground Zero

  1. The arrogance about the importance of America knows no bounds. I am waiting for someone to invent this translation:

    For God so loved America…

    • Didn’t you know Rick, America is the “new” old testament Israel, the apple of God’s eye…at least according to a lot of these folks today.🙂

    • American exceptionalism + witchcraft = “Christianity”? or = Apostasy?

I think it is obvious that apostasy from the faith taught by the apostles of Christ and their successors is the obvious answer, and this is a very clear and well defined apostasy that is void of any semblance of orthodox faith. It is, in a nutshell, a false Gospel with a false Christ and it will lead its followers to eternal damnation as they attempt to seek out God by reading tea leaves. The true Word of God is found in the Bible and in the Church, not in the newspapers and affairs of the world where these people are searching. I can tell you that Constantinople and its thousand year reign of glory was insignificant in the eyes of God. And America with all of its arrogance is no better. The true nation of God is the Holy Nation comprising his saints, both OT and NT, both on this side and the other side. The empires of this present Age are temporal and will be burnt up when the world to come is revealed in the last day. America is just one more of these futile temporal empires, which, while they have a place in this temporal world, have no place and no future in eternity. That future belongs instead to Christ and His Church. ALL of the rest, including “America”, no matter how religious, will be eternally lost and estranged from their Creator. The real people of God are but pilgrims in this present Age. Our strong attachment is to the Lord and to His Christ. All the rest has its place, but it will never have any eternal significance no matter how many misguided souls assume otherwise.

      Amen George!!

  2. That’s funny PJ! I didn’t know that America was the new apple of God’s eye!

I have traveled to various places around the world over the years and every place I go, God is there and all those that are born again, Spirit filled, that I have interacted with claim that the Christ that dwells in them is the Apple of His Eye, too! Hmmmmmm? How did some in America get it so wrong?🙂

I wonder what Bible translation they reading that brings them to make such a claim, those in America who make such claims?

And just while we are at it, I am a true Native American, from a long line of Pomo Indians from Mendocino, California. We found out the hard way, literally during the 1800’s that according to the settlers who came and settled on our native lands who came from those who claimed the new found world as their own after the European settlers started gracing the shores of the Atlantic, that we were not to consider ourselves apples of God’s Eye! Did God make a mistake, then, when He sent the Holy Spirit to my spirit to bring me out of darkness and into His Light to then live a daily life of repentance receiving the forgiveness of my sins by the eternal redemption Christ Himself purchased for me with His own blood, so that I too, can now, daily, make the same claim as they, that the Christ in me, actively living and leading me into all the Will of God is the “Apple of His Eye”?

    Just wondering out loud?🙂

Michael, i’d like to know too. We know this erroneous belief came out of bad/dangerous theology….a true doctrine of demons.

Its probably why i cringe every-time i hear the term,”American exceptionalism”

  3. I think a fair question to ask to people like Farrah is: So what?

What if America is judged and destroyed, what if your predictions are right. What does it matter to the Church? What is Washington to the Heavenly Jerusalem? Their answer will betray that they don’t believe in the Gospel and that their hope lies in this world.

    • I’m with you Cal. So what? Like George pointed out,

“The empires of this present Age are temporal and will be burnt up when the world to come is revealed in the last day”

Music from Broken Chords

Down in the human heart, crush'd by the tempter, Feelings lie buried that grace can restore; Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness Chords that were broken will vibrate once more. From the Hymn "Rescue the Perishing" by Fanny J. Crosby
