I Had a Dream

Once in awhile a post really touches me.

This one by Dan Edelen (Cerulean Sanctum; I Had a Dream) stirred a deep longing in my spirit.

  1. I certainly enjoyed that article. Thanks for the link.

    • Glad you liked it!

One day, hopefully soon, the body of Christ will be as Jesus intended it to be; as one.

  2. My husband & I were so blessed by this ‘dream’ as we have been feeling the weight of the total lack of exactly this for quite some time and have been praying accordingly. It is comforting to know we are not alone.

    • Sylvia, i believe there are many like-minded believers out there who inwardly yearn for the same thing. Some may not even know exactly what it is…that inner yearning, but just know something isn’t as it was intended to be.

Dan laid it out beautifully. So glad you and your husband were blessed by his “dream”.

  3. Yes a dream … and a yearning in our hearts that the Lord sees. Just today I was praying about such matters. Yes, it is comforting to know that we are not alone. We may or may not find what we are looking for this side of heaven but one day we will surely have our hearts desire …

    • Amen Cathy! We’ll see it some day! 🙂

You posted the links to a couple old songs which bring back wonderful memories. I can see my old pastor now, standing up front leading us in song on sunday morning. Just over in the glory-land was one of his favorites. Mine too!

      Thank you sister

Music from Broken Chords

Down in the human heart, crush'd by the tempter, Feelings lie buried that grace can restore; Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness Chords that were broken will vibrate once more. From the Hymn "Rescue the Perishing" by Fanny J. Crosby
