Contraception Mandate Is An Attack Like 9/11 And Pearl Harbor

Boy, talk about using hyperbole. Sadly, in the last few years I read stuff like this on a daily basis. Wonder if its possible for an entire Nation to go insane?

quote,

One Republican lawmaker sees August 1, 2012 the day the contraception coverage mandate goes into effect, as one of the darkest days in modern American history.

“I know in your mind you can think of times when America was attacked. One is December 7th, that’s Pearl Harbor day. The other is September 11th, and that’s the day of the terrorist attack,” Kelly said, according to NBC. “I want you to remember August the 1st, 2012, the attack on our religious freedom. That is a day that will live in infamy, along with those other dates.”

  1. He is Roman Catholic and preaches their gospel, which is not THE gospel.

Have you read this article? it is devoid of irrational analysis from a self described die-hard conservative Republican.

  3. Thanks for the link! That was a very good article. It actually brought back memories (none of them good) of my pregnancy with my youngest son, (he’s 42 now). We had no health insurance because frankly, we could not afford it. We were struggling to just put food on the table and keep a roof over our heads.

Thank the Lord our son was born without any health issues and i experienced none during the 9 months either. It could have been a different story if either had occurred.

I praise God none of my grand-daughters will ever have to face a pregnancy now, without insurance of some type.

Music from Broken Chords

Down in the human heart, crush'd by the tempter, Feelings lie buried that grace can restore; Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness Chords that were broken will vibrate once more. From the Hymn "Rescue the Perishing" by Fanny J. Crosby
