False Prophet and Apostle Rick Joyner: ‘An Obama Re-Election Could be the End of Our Republic as We Know it’

Last evening I found myself pondering on the fact that all the well-known (American) false prophets, especially members of the New Apostolic Reformation, are pulling out all the stops, including fear-mongering, in their goal to defeat Obama: it has certainly given me something to think about. The truth is, it sure can’t be a coincidence.

Last weekend, Rick Joyner delivered an election sermon that is so “vitally important” that he felt compelled to post it on YouTube so that everyone can watch as he tells his congregation that they cannot vote for President Obama because America is on the verge of heading into “the worst, most terrible form of tyranny there has ever been seen on this earth” and that “an Obama re-election could be the end of our republic as we know it.”

After proclaiming that Obama was engaging in tyranny and was either grossly incompetent or treasonous, Joyner declared that no Christian could ever support the Democratic Party, much less support Obama because he is “the most anti-Christian office we have ever had in office” and that anyone who believes Obama is really a Christian is “deluded” and “seriously deceived”:

  1. Am I the only one to find it ironic that the kettle was calling the pot black? Or what about the Native Americans, the red skins, whom God had here before the discoveries of this vast land with sea shores east and west and land borders north and south?

Ah, the words false and delusional were ascribed the President several times by one that seems to be living a delusional life with roots deep in false premises and presuppositions?

    Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm?

    • Ah, the words false and delusional were ascribed the President several times by one that seems to be living a delusional life….

Exactly! I’m glad someone else sees this.

And its not just Joyner, it’s a vast number of his fellow false prophets who are coming out saying similar things Michael. Especially all the dominionist/NAR crowd.

And frankly, im stumped in knowing what to make of it.

  2. Just wondering in print, but given the wealth of the LDS church and of Candidate Romney, should we just do the age-old thing and follow the money trail?

    • Good question. Frankly i don’t know Louise.

But it is pretty astounding that all these false prophets and/or apostles are so adamantly opposed to Obama. Frankly, i wouldn’t take advice concerning anything from any one of these self-appointed prophets.

  3. Oh, wow. The old if-you-say-something-about-Repubilcans-then-you-support-abortion line. It just never gets old, does it?

Anyway … I’ve seen this kind of argument, mostly from Ann Coulter. It’s more than a little sad that the GOP would actually show this to someone not already firmly in their camp.

    • The old if-you-say-something-about-Repubilcans-then-you-support-abortion line.

Ken you’re right in that it never gets old.

Many people see everyone in this country as either a republican or an abortion loving, Christian hating devil, and its simply not true. But try convincing them otherwise, and you’ll get no where fast. Its pitiful what we’ve allowed to take root in this nation…just pitiful.

By the way, its good to hear from you!

Music from Broken Chords

Down in the human heart, crush'd by the tempter, Feelings lie buried that grace can restore; Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness Chords that were broken will vibrate once more. From the Hymn "Rescue the Perishing" by Fanny J. Crosby
