The only person miserable is you!

For goodness sakes. You know, if folks like Pat Robertson couldn’t find something to complain about every day or (imagine) they see enemies lurking behind every tree, they’d have no reason to get out of bed. How sad that one’s life is defined by the number of enemies one imagines to have.

The “War on Christmas” has arrived and the 700 Club is doing all it can to stoke fears that Christmas may cease to exist. Host Pat Robertson warned that “the Grinch is trying to steal our holiday” as “miserable” atheists “want to steal your holiday away from you” simply because they can’t stand the joy of Christmas. “Atheists don’t like our happiness, they don’t want you to be happy, they want you to be miserable,” he said. “They’re miserable so they want you to be miserable.” –  source with video

Love you Pat, but I think the Grinch costume belongs on you…

  1. Again, it elicits energy and GIVING in people as Robertson presents all kinds of spiritual voodoo dolls.

  2. Pat would’ve been a better (and perhaps more successful) priest of Jupiter Optimus Maximus than a disciple of the Lord Jesus.

One demands strength, honor and cowering before the gods and the other brings life by His own sacrifice.

  3. My opinion is that “Christmas” gets bigger and lasts longer every year. And, it’s the one time of year that songs about the Lord are heard everywhere, some with an amazing gospel message. I’m not sure what Pat is talking about.

Music from Broken Chords

Down in the human heart, crush'd by the tempter, Feelings lie buried that grace can restore; Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness Chords that were broken will vibrate once more. From the Hymn "Rescue the Perishing" by Fanny J. Crosby
