Merry Christmas Everyone

Sorry I’ve not been at the blog more often this past week but my Christmas baking seems to take up more time every year! ahaha… I believe it’s both the combination of a growing extended family (means more fudge and cookies to make) and the fact of growing older and consequently slower in the kitchen.🙂

I do want to wish you all a very VERY Merry Christmas. May this season bring you great joy and peace my friends, which we know are both found in our wonderful Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

And let us also not forget those who are hurting this year, for there are many. Please pray for our brothers and sisters around the world who are suffering and in need, many even here in the west. And my friends, remember the lost. For though many of these may not appear to be suffering or in need, they are in the greatest need of all: The need for the Son of God Himself. And on a personal note, remember those in prayer who are facing loss this year. I won’t reveal who but a dear friend who posts here often is entering into this Christmas season knowing it will be the last they’ll spend with a dear loved one.

May our Father bring peace to all.

I’m off to get ready to make the trip to my daughters home now, I love you all…

  1. Thank you PJM for all your good work. Here’s wishing you a Merry Christmas and an enlightening 2013.

  2. Merry Christmas pj – have a wonderful Christmas. I’ve just been baking with my daughter – we made star shaped mince pies.

    • Thanks Jan…hope you had a wonderful day! Mince pies…you’ve made me hungry Jan🙂

The one item i didn’t have time to make for Christmas this year was the original Hershey’s cocoa old fashioned fudge, and it seems to be everyone’s favorite. So im planning to make it this weekend. If you’ve ever tackled making it then you know it takes a looong time with no guarantee it will always turn out right.

      Merry Christmas sister!

Music from Broken Chords

Down in the human heart, crush'd by the tempter, Feelings lie buried that grace can restore; Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness Chords that were broken will vibrate once more. From the Hymn "Rescue the Perishing" by Fanny J. Crosby
