Ted Cruz’s Father Believes Son ‘Anointed’ By God as one of the Christian Kings to “Take Dominion”

There have been rumors that Ted Cruz may be one looking to run in the next presidential election. You may want to tuck this bit of information away in your mind in case that happens.

Quote,

Rafael Cruz proffered a sermon at an Irving, Texas megachurch last year announcing that his son was anointed as one of the Christian “kings” who would preside over a transfer of wealth in America by taking “dominion.”

Rafael Cruz indicated that his son was among the evangelical Christians who are anointed as “kings” to take control of all sectors of society, an agenda commonly referred to as the “Seven Mountains” mandate, and “bring the spoils of war to the priests”, thus helping to bring about a prophesied “great transfer of wealth”, from the “wicked” to righteous gentile believers… Cruz spoke of “Kings who are anointed to go to war, win the war, and bring the spoils of war to the priests.” Discussion of the now-notorious speech by Rafael Cruz has missed the fact that Ted Cruz was subsequently blessed and anointed by prominent dominionist pastors, in effect as a “king” in the political/governmental sphere, at a special blessing ceremony at the Marriott Hotel in Des Moines, Iowa, at a July 19th-20th 2013 rally designed to draw pastors into politics.

  1. Oh brother. Where do these folks come from? Just goes to show, that if your hermeneutic is faulty, then your interpretations of scripture will be also.

  2. I’m trying to get a picture of Todd Bentley, Ted Cruz, Sarah Palin, Cindy Jacobs, and Lou Engle on the same stage out of my head. Some things are just to scary to visualize.

  3. Such religious nonsense. They twist the Old Testament narratives and make them dance to religious folklore and openly avoid all mention of Jesus and His teachings. My current post talks about churches without Jesus. No humility and no grace and it becomes all about America and wealth. This is not the Christian faith and they are apostates. And if Ted Cruz does become president it will not be by the power of God’s Spirit. Millions are following such falsehoods and I fear they will follow the spirit of antichrist until they lose their souls. What a tragedy!
BTW – The song they were singing as “worship” said Jesus was the greatest man in history and took the worst of me and helped me get myself together. What sacrilege.

  4. I recall making a comment on here somewhere about a year ago about how it looked like the dominionists were ‘laying low’. I wrongly based that on the fact that not much had been coming out from the usual suspects for awhile.

    Boy WAS i wrong!

  5. Stevepage – very funny!

  6. When I listen to that my body trembles like when I hear a person scratch a chalkboard with their fingernails!

What is being contradicted is the vision John writes about fallen Babylon in charter 18. Read the following verses and you get an entirely different sense about the market place or taking over the wealth of the world:

Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. Pay her back as she herself has paid back others, and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed. As she glorified herself and lived in luxury, so give her a like measure of torment and mourning, since in her heart she says, ‘I sit as a queen, I am no widow, and mourning I shall never see.’ For this reason her plagues will come in a single day, death and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for mighty is the Lord God who has judged her.” And the kings of the earth, who committed sexual immorality and lived in luxury with her, will weep and wail over her when they see the smoke of her burning. They will stand far off, in fear of her torment, and say, “Alas! Alas! You great city, you mighty city, Babylon! For in a single hour your judgment has come.” And the merchants of the earth weep and mourn for her, since no one buys their cargo anymore, cargo of gold, silver, jewels, pearls, fine linen, purple cloth, silk, scarlet cloth, all kinds of scented wood, all kinds of articles of ivory, all kinds of articles of costly wood, bronze, iron and marble, cinnamon, spice, incense, myrrh, frankincense, wine, oil, fine flour, wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and chariots, and slaves, that is, human souls. “The fruit for which your soul longed has gone from you, and all your delicacies and your splendors are lost to you, never to be found again!” The merchants of these wares, who gained wealth from her, will stand far off, in fear of her torment, weeping and mourning aloud, “Alas, alas, for the great city that was clothed in fine linen, in purple and scarlet, adorned with gold, with jewels, and with pearls! For in a single hour all this wealth has been laid waste.” And all shipmasters and seafaring men, sailors and all whose trade is on the sea, stood far off and cried out as they saw the smoke of her burning, “What city was like the great city?” And they threw dust on their heads as they wept and mourned, crying out, “Alas, alas, for the great city where all who had ships at sea grew rich by her wealth! For in a single hour she has been laid waste. (Revelation 18:4-19 ESV)

    • It is frightening Michael.

Thank you for posting those scriptures. They should make ever child of God tremble.

  7. For what it’s worth, Glenn Beck loves Ted Cruz. He calls him a “man of God”.

    • Louise, it figures: like-minds; or as the old saying goes, ‘birds of a feather flock together’. In this instance, two Dodo birds.

Music from Broken Chords

Down in the human heart, crush'd by the tempter, Feelings lie buried that grace can restore; Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness Chords that were broken will vibrate once more. From the Hymn "Rescue the Perishing" by Fanny J. Crosby
