Ethen-Landen Garcia

My new great-grand-son arrived today, weighing in at 7 pounds 14 ounces. Great grandma can’t wait to hold him!

Mother, baby (and daddy) are doing great. Thank you Lord….

  1. Congratulaciones Juanita. You are truly blessed

  2. Praise God!

Psalm 78:1 A Maskil[fn] of Asaph. Give ear, O my people, to my teaching; incline your ears to the words of my mouth!
2 I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings from of old,
3 things that we have heard and known, that our fathers have told us.
4 We will not hide them from their children, but tell to the coming generation the glorious deeds of the LORD, and his might, and the wonders that he has done.
5 He established a testimony in Jacob and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers to teach to their children,
6 that the next generation might know them, the children yet unborn, and arise and tell them to their children,
    7 so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments;
8 and that they should not be like their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation, a generation whose heart was not steadfast, whose spirit was not faithful to God.

Just count how many generations are in view in those verses!

  3. Amen, i am truly blessed. There was a time in recent years in which i wasn’t sure i’d be around to see the fruit of this next generation in my family. God has been so good to me folks…not only have i been permitted to see my family grow in size, but the love keeps expanding with every new addition!

My oldest son and i have talked about how small our little family was at one time: my parents had passed on, as well as the children’s father. We had no family living close-by, all those still living, lived at least 1,000 miles away and we rarely saw them. And now, praise God! Our family has grown to include many grandchildren and now includes great grandchildren!

Family is truly a blessing from God.

  4. Congratulations PJ! I’d have congratulated earlier, but Ive been quite busy with school, so I haven’t had the chance to read here too much.

    • Thanks Ricardo! Hope to see him for the first time, tomorrow….yahoo!!

Have missed you and your comments. Pray everything is going well with your studies!

    • Thank you Cathy!

He didn’t get to come home as soon as we hoped–had a problem keeping formula down, but is coming home tomorrow (actually now, it’s today! aha).

Music from Broken Chords

Down in the human heart, crush'd by the tempter, Feelings lie buried that grace can restore; Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness Chords that were broken will vibrate once more. From the Hymn "Rescue the Perishing" by Fanny J. Crosby
