All crossings closed, Gaza is totally isolated from the world

The Israeli response comes at the height of movement of goods, funds and building materials for the rehabilitation of the thousands of homes and buildings damaged or destroyed during the summer fighting. It “joins” the closure of the Rafah crossing on the Egyptian side, and is in practice totally disconnects Gaza from the rest of the world. Hamas has already asked Egypt to open the crossing on its side, in order to prevent a humanitarian disaster. – YNETNEWS; All crossings closed, Gaza is totally isolated from the world

My prayers tonight go out to my Christian brethren, and all the people of Gaza. The enemy desires to see this part of the body totally destroyed: Did you know some of the earliest Churches in Christendom were/are located in this part of the world?  I don’t believe God will permit the enemy to wipe-out this part of Jesus’ body, but they are suffering terribly, and have been for over 60 years. If that knowledge doesn’t touch you deeply and drive you to pray, you need to check yourself, to determine if you are truly abiding in Christ.

(A prayer for deliverance from Psalm 143)

Hear my prayer, O Lord;
give ear to my supplications!
In thy faithfulness answer me, in thy righteousness!
Enter not into judgment with thy servant;
for no man living is righteous before thee.
For the enemy has pursued me;
he has crushed my life to the ground;
he has made me sit in darkness like those long dead.
Therefore my spirit faints within me;
my heart within me is appalled.

Make haste to answer me, O Lord!
My spirit fails!

Hide not thy face from me,
lest I be like those who go down to the Pit.
Let me hear in the morning of thy steadfast love,
for in thee I put my trust.
Teach me the way I should go,
for to thee I lift up my soul.

    Romans 11:28 As regards the gospel, they are enemies for your sake. But as regards election, they are beloved for the sake of their forefathers.

    When we read from the Old Testament and after the specific promises made to Abram, two promises and then one further to Abraham we see God’s faithfulness and the power of His Grace and Mercy. We see the 12 tribes become two groups. There’s Judah and Benjamin as one group, the Kingdom of Judah who’s great king, King David, flowed out of and eventually King Jesus. And then there’s the Kingdom of Israel with their center or seat of authority in Samaria.

    The thing that is most powerful is God’s faithfulness to the Kings of Judah where we read God endured their unfaithfulness time and time again not willing to put the lamp of Judah out! This is the greatness of God, the power to deal with our sin nature and our sins to forgive us and restore us and bless us even though there is nothing of us that is righteous! Today the people of Israel are just as worthy of God’s wrath to suffer eternal damnation as before 70a.d. yet they are flourishing and coming onto to world stage strong full of vigor and an unusual Faith! We are beginning to see this unity of Faith in the covenant promises of God come alive in Israel!

    Following is a letter I wrote that underscores the role of the Genitle CHURCH, (bought and redeemed by the Blood of Christ), plays in provoking the true Israel of God to jealousy:::>

    I’ve listened to your message on prayer last Wednesday night and would add some thoughts so you can inspire some prayer by your praying people along these lines?

    First, the Church among the nations of this “temporal” world ruled by the god of this world are on a mission to see to it the message of the Gospel gets vetted to every creature then the end shall come. Jesus said Satan and fallen angels and man can’t stop this from happening. They desperately want to but can’t. They have vested interest in keeping this creation going for as long as they can. When it’s over their final residency isn’t as wonderful as the fall colors as things change during the seasons, summer, winter, spring and fall!

    Second thing is paralleling that great commission is another one. Recall the very specific distinct promises The Lord made to Abram/Abraham? I count three. One, Abram would become a great nation. Two, all families would be blessed. Three, all nations would be blessed. The great nation, Israel, was to be a kingdom of priests praying for and blessing all nations and families with the outrageous prosperity and blessings of God if they met the conditions for this to happen thus ending Satan’s hold on families and the nations of the world. Well true to the predetermined plan, they failed!

    Now that the baton has been resurrected and Christ’s true colors are in our midst, the called to the Father’s glory in Christ, the Church, as the current Royal Priesthood and peculiar people are to show forth these promises to ALL nations including now this old ancient nation Israel that disappeared around 70a.d. but has now reappeared. The ultimate thing is by this Church doing what that ancient nation failed to do because they wanted to do it by themselves disregarding The Lord’s Way the Church will provoke them to jealousy because it is no longer you and I doing it like them. We are dead and our life is now hid with Christ in God so it will be Christ in us doing for us and for the nation of Israel what no human could do, that is fulfill those three promises The Lord made to Abram/Abraham!

    Here’s the great vision of Israel that they couldn’t accomplish because of the sin nature:::>

    1 Chronicles 16:28 Ascribe to the LORD, O families of the peoples, ascribe to the LORD glory and strength!
    29 Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering and come before him! Worship the LORD in the splendor of holiness;
    30 tremble before him, all the earth; yes, the world is established; it shall never be moved.
    31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice, and let them say among the nations, “The LORD reigns!”
    32 Let the sea roar, and all that fills it; let the field exult, and everything in it!
    33 Then shall the trees of the forest sing for joy before the LORD, for he comes to judge the earth.

    Here’s the motivating reality that Satan and his angels DONT WANT happening by Christ through His CHURCH:::>

    2 Peter 3:10 But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will pass away with a roar, and the heavenly bodies will be burned up and dissolved, and the earth and the works that are done on it will be exposed.
    11 Since all these things are thus to be dissolved, what sort of people ought you to be in lives of holiness and godliness,
    12 waiting for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be set on fire and dissolved, and the heavenly bodies will melt as they burn!
    13 But according to his promise we are waiting for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.

    By His Grace

    • Hi Michael! Thank you for commenting but im not sure how this relates to praying for the people of Gaza as they are now cut off from the world, (especially brothers and sisters in Christ).

      I’m sure its me being dense…that im missing your point. Perhaps you could explain????

      Nice to hear from you brother 🙂

  2. It’s the testimony of Christ through His people whether in Gaza or Syria or any nation including Israel. Jesus said that killing and mistreating His Church would come. That the Church in Gaza are experiencing such hardship is grievous to be sure! We should pray earnestly for them that they remain faithful until death if that’s God’s Will but also that God would use them in their sufferings to open the eyes of the blind and embolden them to proclaim as they live their calling in The Lord!

    1 Peter 3:13 Now who is there to harm you if you are zealous for what is good?
    14 But even if you should suffer for righteousness’ sake, you will be blessed. Have no fear of them, nor be troubled,
    15 but in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you; yet do it with gentleness and respect,
    16 having a good conscience, so that, when you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ may be put to shame.
    17 For it is better to suffer for doing good, if that should be God’s will, than for doing evil.

    It is the blessing of Christ in the Christian under such extreme persecution that is going to open the eyes of those blinded by the devils at work over there in the Middle East or the Far East, or Africa or the Americas or Europe. This world is not our permanent dwelling place, Christ is here and there and wherever we are to the ends of the earth!

    That message of the blessings promised to Abram/Abraham are the “work” of the Church even in Gaza while suffering such horrific sufferings as our Christian brethren are suffering, there, in Iraq, Syria, Africa or anywhere we boldly name the Name of Christ!

    • Amen Michael! 🙂

      We are also called to pray for those members of the body which are suffering, for if one suffers so do all.

      “…If one member suffers, all suffer together;” 1 Cor.12:26

      I’ve been studying (rather then only reading) Paul’s letters the last couple weeks and one thing i noticed was he always requested prayer for all the churches and for himself.

  3. And that’s the point of my letter to Bob.

    Israel today when reading and learning their history won’t learn a thing if they keep claiming their identity that Moses wrote of them in Exodus 19. Yes God called them to be a kingdom of priests. What does a priest do but pray for those they are called to minister to as well as pray to God for them as well as pray for them self. It is this national priesthood ministry they failed in accomplishing. They failed! That’s why the Temple was destroyed in 70a.d. and it is foolish to believe they won’t fail now in these days. I don’t fault them. I fault the Priesthood of Melchizedek and our lack of prayer for the blessing God promised to Abraham becoming our consuming fire! God answers prayer! He does!!

    As I indicated there’s going to be no encouragement from the world to “HASTEN” the day of The Lord. Christ has done His work, now we should set everything aside and do what we have been called into His LIGHT to do and that is pray for the promises God made to Abraham to come to pass and stop Israel from believing they have territorial rights over the land they forfieted back when they had their Messiah slaughtered by the hands of ungodly men!

    Make no mistake about it those promises will happen with or without this present generation getting with God’s eternal purpose. One of these days the CHURCH will come alive by the Spirit of The Lord and reign through Him on earth and see His Kingdom come and His Will done on earth as it is in Heaven and that to the glory of The Lord!

    • I cannot help but ponder on the future of modern Israel–

      Michael, after spending the past 6 months (while recouping) i had time to extensively pour over and study God’s word concerning a restoration of Israel being prophesied after it’s destruction in 70AD, and do not believe it was. What does this say about the State which calls itself Israel today…what does it mean for it’s future? I don’t know. Time will tell.

      Thanks for adding further to the discussion brother…
