Netanyahu crashes Paris unity march, French gov’t fumes

Been reading various news accounts of this story since last night, and I STILL get embarrassed every time I read a new account.

French President Francois Hollande personally asked Netanyahu to not come to France to participate in this march, and the guy ignores the request and comes anyway. If you read this news item you’ll understand why Netanyahu just “wouldn’t stay home”.

This guy is a Class-A manipulator and exploiter of any tragedy.

  1. This is very interesting at today’s Forward;

    If time permits, read the comment section. Very enlightening.

  2. Telegraph: Benjamin Netanyahu ridiculed over appearance at Paris solidarity march

    Benjamin Netanyahu is facing a storm of criticism because of his “embarrassing” behaviour at Sunday’s mass solidarity march in Paris and his calls for French Jews to emigrate to Israel following last week’s deadly attack on a Jewish supermarket.

    The Israeli prime minister was seen elbowing his way to the front of the parade of world leaders and also unsuccessfully tried to jump to the head of queue waiting for a bus that was to take guests to the starting point.

    After he failed to get on the first bus, a nervous-looking Mr Netanyahu – accompanied by what appeared to be an Israeli security team – was shown on French video footage waiting for the next one.

    During the march, Mr Netanyahu waved to the crowd in response to a pro-Israel shout from a woman spectator, a gesture some Israeli commentators deemed to be at odds with the sombre mood.

    The alleged gaffes were further compounded by reports that the Israeli leader attended the event in defiance of a request to stay away from Francois Hollande, the French president, who reportedly did not want it overshadowed by the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

  3. May God bless Benjamin Netanyahu a true leader of israel

    • A better and more appropriate request is to ask God to save Netanyahu, for the man is lost and on his way into eternity in this condition. His salvation would also grant him access to God’s wisdom in order to lead Israel—which at this point is greatly needed for he is single-handedly destroying the State.

  4. The answer remains the same for all concerned….JESUS! Unless they all, (the world) turn to Jesus, their destiny is already cemented. All Praise and Glory to God our Father and to Jesus Christ our Saviour!

    • Yes, Jesus is the only answer to this world’s ills my friend. Some days i become overwhelmed by all the evil and hatred i see every-where i turn. We are blessed to “know” the answer, but until the world knows it too we will continue to watch this world and it’s leaders grow sicker and sicker.

  5. PJ, it makes perfectly good sense to me why Netanyahu would go to France. Why shouldn’t he considering his understanding of the Jewish Bible and the extra biblical writings he most certainly is being educated in by the Rabbis and I also read, maybe on this blog some time back, that his son is schooling him in prophecies “yet to be fulfilled”.

    Seeing that to be so and also having had the privilege to speak with a member of the Knesset some years ago about his beliefs and the beliefs of the majority of Jews now residing in present day Israel, it make sense to me he would go to that event especially if members of opposition parties are going.

    He is looking for the Messiah to come and solve the overwhelming troubles that are besetting the nation of Israel. Coming to France was a good p.r. ploy for him as was noted in the foregoing article that generates these comments.
