The visible sorrow on this man of God’s face and heard in his voice, as he relates to them what was occurring even then in our Churches, will surely cause you to think about the silliness, lack of any holiness, and out-right blasphemy you are seeing in the clips from this Lakeland event. We watch Todd laugh like an insane person, scream to the heavens for FIRE FIRE FIRE–or ANGELS ANGELS ANGELS like a mad man, kick and headbutt seriously ill people, all in the name of God. Think about it. As David Wilkerson says in this clip: “I can’t laugh when they make the Holy Ghost look like a fool….”
This is going on night after night while people who may be lost without God and/or hurting–needing to hear the Gospel, are sitting in front of him.

What a true man of God David Wilkerson is. God Bless him, this message is so powerful and had me in tears. What must the world think when they see these obscene manifestations and christians calling it The Holy Spirit. The part when he talked about not being able to laugh when he looked at the various faces in church that got me big time. Its time to pray, God help us.

Many Christians who have accepted this type of ungodly behaviour–attributing it to the Holy Spirit, use the verses in
1Cor. 1:
27But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;
Cor.3;
For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. ..
2 Cor 12;
11I am become a fool in glorying;…
As proof these things are of God…
What they do is pull isolated verses or portions of verses (just like i did above) out of context…never applying them to what the Spirit of God was really saying through Paul.
They are ignorant of the word of God and satan knows it!
As i watched that old clip with Wilkerson last evening, i found the horrifying thought running through my mind: WHAT WILL WE DO CHURCH, once men of God like David Wilkerson are no longer here?
There are so very few left–and even fewer younger bold men of God rising up to take their places.
Thank God for a Paul Washer, a Carter Conlon, or a Donnie Swaggart….and yes, for a Monica Dennington too, even if you have issues with a woman speaking biblical truth and warning the Church.
But there are so few folks–so few.

don’t worry – God has things well in hand when it comes to His church.
I’m guessing that the current deceptions are actually a judgement on the church. A giving over to strong delusion. It’s an awful thing, but judgement begins with God’s people.
He warned me a few years ago that if I didn’t start reading my bible, I wouldn’t make it through the coming deceptions. I see now how fortunate I was to heed His warning.
Don’t worry, sis – God has reserved a remnant, and they are a strong remnant. Just think about how He’s brought you to a maximum level of effectiveness over the past few years (this blog being evidence of that) and realize He’s been doing the same to all of us who are willing to serve in the vineyard.
There’s a church left on this earth, and it’s a beautiful church.
It’s right to mourn for those caught in the lie, but remember that the “church” is as strong and vibrant now as ever before.
The gates of hell won’t prevail.

I had just read this message this morning–thanks for sending it to me. I’m so glad you included the link and hope others here will read it also.
This type of message flies in the face of the false ‘bless me’ messages we hear coming from the false prophets and so-called Apostles today…and it should!
Not only America but the nations of the world are on the very brink of God’s judgment being poured out–and we have these nuts (God forgive me) running around prophesying ‘peace and blessing’…teaching about gold dust, demons named Emma’, and ‘new moves and impartations’…
God help us all to wake up to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit!
Lord give us all true anointed ears to hear and eyes to see…
Larry, i know you’re right…God’s Church will, in the end, prevail!
Watching the recent new deception has distressed me terribly because of the sheer magnitude of Christians who have been caught up in it; but i can say on the other hand, i have been encouraged by those who are refusing to give in, and are instead going to the bible, praying, and using discernment .
What i cannot stand is seeing these folks mock the Holy Spirit.
Looking back to ‘you know where’ (lol) i can see how God used that board situation, as bad as it was, to turn me to the scriptures.
Larry i think that’s the key to being protected in this last day delusion which is coming fast–its leaning totally on God’s word. The bible will be our lifeline.

Nooooooo……. God’s church is prevailing even now. In the heart of every new Christian a battle has been fought and a glorious victory won. Every time a sinner turns to God the church has prevailed in a HUGE way.
Tomorrow, some sinner we don’t even know will fall down at the cross and beg for forgiveness, and will be washed white as snow with the blood of our Lord, and once again, the church will prevail so greatly that even the angels in heaven will stop what they’re doing and rejoice over the great victory.
I think you’re right about “the bad place” being a real turning point. It was tough staying ahead of the curve…kinda drove us all into the word didn’t it? <-:

I saw this clip awhile ago, and was also touched to tears. David Wilkerson is a true man of God and I thank God for him, and all those like him who have paid the price in so many ways to bring us a clear sounding uncompromised word. I’ve been real sad lately as I see so many being swept up in this false revival, and who also follow so many other’s who for so long have been fleecing the flock.
2 Pt 2:1 -3 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily will bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that brought them and bring upon themselves swift destruction. And many shall follow their pernicious ways: by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of. And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make mercahndise of you; whose judgement now of a long time lingereth not, and their damnation slumbereth not
There is much more of this chapter i could write here but instead I would admonish you all to read on for yourselves. I’m real encouraged by the things I’ve read here on this site and am so thankful for each one of you who have posted your insight into all that’s going on in the name of Jesus which is so contray to God’s word. I believe those who are seeing these things are seeing them simply because they have been a people who have spent much time int he word and with the Lord over the years and know the diffrence between His voice and another voice, and yet this is not to say that those who are caught up in this cannot get set free, but in truth they have been groomed in to a selfish gospel and don’t understand that there is a price to pay for being separated unto God and thus they really donnot endure sound doctrine. They are truly blinded by the god of this world. Most churchgoers anymore are not even saved, and don’t hear the gospel when they are in church but think they are “christians.” They all need our prayers, as God desires that none would perish but that all would come to repentance 2 Pt 3:9. Keep Brother D. Wilkerson and all the other’s who are in the forefront of things in constant prayer, these are truly perilous times we are living in.

Thank you brother David Wilkerson for sharing the truth!! We need to weep for America, and pray that God will deliver many people from this terrible domonic false revival by Todd Bentley, Rodney Howard Brown, and many others who are leading people away from God.
We need to get back to the Bible. I don’t see very many people with their Bibles at church like I used to when I was a kid. I guess some/many people just want a quick fix, without the hard work that goes along with becomig a seasoned Christian. We must go through trials, like the Bible tells us in James, and count it joy!!
Help me Lord to stay in your word, and protect me and my children and friends from the enemy who wants to destroy our faith. Have mercy Lord ….
