Netanyahu’s spokespeople: “he plans to kill himself pursuing the last remaining option for scuttling the deal”

This man is a dangerous warmongering nut who can’t seem to understand he doesn’t rule and reign in the United States.

Haaretz:

Quote (read complete article at link)

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu looks defeated. He was ashen-faced on Tuesday next to the Dutch foreign minister at their joint press conference in Jerusalem; his appearance was that of a desperate gambler who had lost everything. The Iranian nuclear agreement, against which he had vigorously and repeatedly warned, had become a fait accompli. The deal over which he had declared political war on the president of the United States, while breaking all the rules of diplomatic relations between friendly countries, had become a reality, for better or worse.

Even before the details of the agreement were known, and without having any idea what was or wasn’t included, senior Likud officials were firing cannon shells through the electronic media. Talking points that had been sent to them in advance contained three main points: 1. The agreement is bad, terrible, and awful; 2. If not for Netanyahu, the situation would have been much worse, much earlier; 3. The opposition is to blame and ought to be ashamed for not being supportive enough/for being critical now/for not standing tensely quiet at the side of the prime minister, meaning the State of Israel.

The prime minister himself hastened Tuesday to call on the opposition to “put petty politics aside and unite for the State of Israel’s national interests,” as if the Iranian nukes hadn’t served as an effective political weapon for him during every recent election campaign.

Netanyahu’s spokespeople said he plans to “kill himself” pursuing the last remaining option for scuttling the deal – preventing its ratification by the U.S. House of Representatives – by persuading Democratic congressmen to defect to the Republican camp and vote against their president. The destruction and devastation he avoided inflicting on the nuclear facilities scattered throughout Iran, he now wants to wreck on what’s left of U.S.-Israel relations. Here we again see his compulsive gambler syndrome: After losing his pants, he’s now putting his underwear on the roulette wheel in a move that experts on American politics say hasn’t much of a chance.

In this context, the call by Likud ministers for “internal cohesion that’s been lacking until now” sounds pathetic. Why exactly is Netanyahu demanding that Labor’s Isaac Herzog, Yesh Atid’s Yair Lapid, Meretz’s Zehava Galon and Yisrael Beiteinu’s Avigdor Lieberman join him? So they can share responsibility for the worsening of the fight between Israel and the leader of the free world?

  1. Walker And Bush Clash Over When To Go After Iran — Day One Or Two

    quote,

WASHINGTON — Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker (R) said over the weekend that the next president of the United States needed to be prepared to take aggressive military action on their very first day in office, including against Iran.

The presidential contender, who had promised to “terminate” the nuclear agreement with Iran upon his inauguration, made the remark while speaking with reporters at the Family Leadership Summit in Ames, Iowa, on Saturday. Walker was asked about a criticism from former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush (R), who asserted during a town hall last week that unwinding the agreement on day one was an unrealistic promise.

The possibilities which await us at the electing of a new president, are frightening. According to these two (Bush and Walker) this peace deal means nothing….we’ll be going to war immediately.

  2. a brow raiser.

  3. With the Huckabee comment this past weekend, I was grieved that supposed Christians would use Holocaust terms to get their points across. Isn’t it enough that these people died and their descendents still suffer? The far-right spokespeople who want Israel to trust them are NOT to be trusted, ever. They promote Israel’s safety, defense and promise Israel that they (American Christians) will elect the right man into Office to keep them safe (this also means they’ll support any pre-emptive attack strategy by Netanhayu). As I was grieving over this, Ezekiel 13 came into my mind. I read it and see how the ‘prophets’ who prophesy peace to Israel were not sent by the Lord. I don’t understand what the ‘pillows and kerchiefs’ represent, but the rest seems to correlate with what the intense christian/zionist movements are doing. These pastors are promising lies, promising they’ll build walls, but with untempered mortar and the Lord says this is not of him and will break it down. 22: “Because with lies ye have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way; by promising him life; 23: There, ye shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations; for I will deliver my people out of your hand; and ye shall know that I am the Lord.”

This is for the foolish prophets that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! This chapter explains that they have seduced His people, saying, “Peace, and there was no peace”. In fact, when I read this, there was no mention if these prophets were Jewish or not. We would assume they were, but today, in the Church, those who prophesy about Jerusalem are mostly Christians. I was always taught that the ‘peace’ of Jerusalem depended on what Israel’s friends do to save her. God never promoted any nation to save her, now I’m finding out. He has a plan and will work it out with whoever he chooses. I see how false prophets, who would benefit from supporting Israel, because of her many resources and money, will prophesy things out of their hearts, pretending to be a friend that doesn’t wish to be cursed. Their motivation is clearly all about them and their financial gain. Real friends of Israel pray for the peace of Jerusalem and do not ‘prophesy for her’. From the Son of God’s perspective, Jesus, we know that our mission isn’t to play politics with Israel; politicians are not to be trusted in this day and age.

    • Marie, the Holocaust has sadly become a political tool today. What this has accomplished is to diminish the actual Holocaust itself.

Its not only American politicians who misuse this word (and words like it) but the leaders of the Israeli government “use” it as well, when it suits their purposes. The same can be said for the term “antisemitic” which is now used against anyone who questions anything/everything Israel does.

  4. If only those pro-Zionist Christians understood wholly the Word according to the Gospel of Jesus Christ, then they wouldn’t be wasting their time on useless bellowing. Our focus should be on bringing as many people as we can to the knowledge of Jesus Christ for salvation, not about false prophesies by deceptive unbelievers.
All praise and Glory to God our Father and Jesus Christ our LORD and Saviour!
