Is Hagee correct? Not according to Jesus:

Don’t know where Hagee got the idea we as Christians, are not suppose to forgive or that forgiveness was conditional.

I actually posted on this last June after receiving the 2 part letter in my inbox..I thought it was bizarre then, and still do. I’ve been a member of 3 Churches in almost 29 years, all 3 were preached the gospel and were bible believing, and not once did I see an Israeli flag in any of them–nor, as far as that goes, an American flag.

Well, I thought the series was finished…maybe I’m mistaken?? Anyway, its never a good idea to date set anything concerning last day prophecy, especially the coming of the Lord. LaHaye should know that…enough said.

That’s the problem, many prophecy teachers have been convinced of not only the date of our Lord’s return, but of being 100% correct concerning many last day prophecy interpretations: And have taught their interpretations as biblical truth. Miller wasn’t the first and he’s sure not been the last.

Dual Covenant theology…

Hagee is wrong about so much, its why I could never accept his prophecy interpretations. The above is good example. Jesus stated very plainly that whoever does the will of God, were/are his brethren.

This compromised double talk of Hagee’s is mind splitting. Upon reading this article, I thought you could reverse the credits of the conversation easily, and really never catch WHICH ONE was the reformed Rabbi. Hagee sees Jesus as a Rabbi; He sees himself as one…just a bit more enlightened than his orthodox brothers.
“I preach Christ, and Christ crucified!”…well…Hagee evidently is not this type of Rabbi. He flattered the Jewish stance of LAW keeping and self-righteous living, by demeaning several Christians and lukewarm Christian denominations, and avoided the pillar of Life, in the statement; “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life..No man comes to the Father except through me.” This was as distant as Siberia in this contrived and pre-rehearsed interview with this Jewish religious leader. It is the only reason Hagee was let in the door. He is a de facto Jewish Rabbi, and a supporter of LAW KEEPING as a means of Salvation.
His “Mission Statement” was to serve the state of Israel by any means that would please them, or help them…and implied that their rebuilding of the temple would be the supreme event of the ages to “bring back Christ.”
One word description: DUPLICITY, and the weaker side of his dualism falls upon the Christian ego…in which I believe only exists to aggrandize his Jewish one. This guy is a politician, that speaketh with forked tongue. He has lost the thing in him that cares if souls perish, and has cast away opportunity by the handfuls to save souls by Proclaiming the Messiah’s blood, the blood of Jesus of Nazareth…is the only hope of Jew or Gentile.
He is the living example of LUKEWARM, with the heat of his holy convictions only slightly warming the icy waters of deception and apostasy as found in modern Judaism. He is an embarrassment to the true Church, and to Christianity overall, and I have a similar reaction as the ONE written about such FOLKS.

Maybe he made a big blooper in talking on this occasion. I actually heard him preach once on forgiveness and I recall the last part of what he said as being the same quoted here, but he was actually referring to staying in harmful relationships etc without the person seeking change i.e. advocating forgiveness under every circumstance, but not remaining in a scenario that will cause the damage e.g. molestation, wife-beating etc

OHHH NOOOO! My name adds up to 666!!!!! AAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH! (Emi runs out the door screaming like a banshee and straight to the public records office to change her name). 5x5x10x8=2000/3=666.666666……7 In a round about way I took the number of letters in my first and middle name and multiplied them to get 250 and then added them to get 10. 250 multiplied by 8 (the number of letters in my last name) to get 2000. 2000 divided by 3 (the number of names I had before I got married) and got 666.666666….7. Basically, this is an illustration that if someone wanted to they could add up your name and get 666.

When the 9th century came about (the end of the 1st millenium) there were dates given by countless monks. Prior to that the dates are many. Here is a list of dates ranging from 44AD to the most recent, and who made the prediction). Predicting the end of time is as old as Christianity.

Back in the 80’s he use to have a call in radio program on a couple nights a week…listening to that was enough for me.
I’m just asking, as it is a new area of thought for me, that I never thought about before until just this last year or so.
It is about the phrase, “no man knows the day or hour” that 666/emi refered to above and others have as well at various times in the past at Matthew 24?
Is there something to the teachings I read about, one from a Messianic Jew and the other from a Texas Gentile, about that “phrase” simply meaning that every month, a 29.5 day monthly Hebrew calendar cycle ends and begins on that day and at that hour? And it is traditional that the “new month” count begins “the day and hour” two witnesses, sent by the Priests to account for the “sighting of the new moon”, beginning the first day of the new month, when “both” men at the same time, “see” the new moon and so begin the next month’s count of days, 29.5, evenings and mornings? This new sighting of the new moon “ends” the previous month. There is the end of that month’s 29.5 days previous and then they account for the subsequent following 29.5 days of the new month?
It is suppose to account for why, in the Jewish calendar year, some years there are thirteen months in a year in stead of twelve. It also is suppose to assure us that this calendar is authentic and began when God assigned the first day of the first month of the new year to Moses so he could begin this “new” legal system of days and weeks and months and years of festivals, sabbaths and the years of jubilee that the Jews were to observe in every generation thereafter.
This “count” of months begins with the verse where God begins the “first day of the first year of this count so that all of the God called for, events, the six annual festivals fall on the designated days God establishes?
Can anyone reading this confirm or substantiate that this is what that means, that no one knows the day or hour of the new moon until two witnesses see it at the same time and account for the new moon sighting?

I think I’ve seen this guy on some show. Is he the one that had the producer’s of some documentary come in and fake posession. And of course, he ‘cast’ out their demons. He wouldn’t even admit these guy’s were faking possession after they told him the truth. He told them that THEY were the one’s who were mistaken and had really been possessed after all, and didn’t know it. What a conman nutcase! lol

Someone said that the opposite of an error is often the opposite error. So the opposite error to anti semitism is Hagee’s idolizing of the Jews. Their religion was traditions of men overlaid on the scriptures, and our religion is no different, particularly if we do not show the fruit of the Spirit.
Hagees blasphemy here is on par with his claim that Jesus never made himself out to be God therefore Israel was not punished for rejecting Him, which view is fascinating, for if Jesus never made himself out to be God then surely denying christ is a fair call for gentiles as well as Jews. to add to the refutation of Hagees conditional forgiveness doctrine is the scriptural passage where the disciples asked the master how many times were they to forgive someone. He said “not seven times but seventy times seven”, ie heaps, dont count. and if we had to forgive someone that often then clearly there was no hint of repentance on the part of the person who wounded us.
Hagee forgets that our forgiveness is not about them, but about our own emotional health. If they repent not and we have not forgiven them because of this this wil poison us (see below)j
Has Hagee considered the implications of his doctrine? of course not.
Imagine he was trapped in romans 7 (though for him to be aware of that would take more sensitivity than he is capable of i warrant). If he knew he could not stop sinning yet would God only forgive him if he, Hagee, first stopped sinning or undertook to do so?
HOWEVER one of the greatest cruelties done in the name of the orthodox line is to legalistically force people who have been abused to forgive their abusers. And when they say God cannot forgive them unles they do they misread the scripture they apply in this instance. For the only way i can be set free of unforgiverness is to be forgiven by God for it, and that only comes when i let it out and pour out the hatred before God and be lead to repent of it. The “unless you forgive you will not be forgiven” is true in the long run but NOT in the immediatel short run. For as taken it denies any possibility of grace
Those who think that they have to summon up forgiveness by act of will will either be aware that they cannot do this, and fall into total despair, (as I did) or wil think that their repression of bad feeling is real forgiveness when it is not, and fall into the greatest danger of all, carrying unacknowledged unforgiveness which will destroy them as per Jesus’ warning – the one they abuse to force feigned obedience to this and every other commandment
As for date setting for the second coming I have heard time and time again that the passage IT IS NOT FOR YOU TO KNOW THE TIMES THE FATHER HAS SET was not for the church but for the Jews, therefore the church could lawfully seek this knowledge.. This is specious as well as being open defiance of the word of God. For Jesus said this, in Acts 1:6-8, to his disciples who were the church in embryo. That they were Jews to a man was not relevant.
the date setters would respond to this by citing Paul “I would not have you ignorant of times and seasons”. I respond by saying that what paul offered was what i call a relative chronology, namely what followed what, in their order, but not an absolute chronology, namely a date. to say that though we were not to know the day and the hour yet we could figure out the month and year is the kind of specious word twisting that earned the pharisees many a fierce rebuke.
Besides, Jesus likened himself to the thief in the night, and the man of the house as Satan. If the man of the house knew when the thief was to come he could try to stop him, therefore he could not know. But if the church knew so would Satan.

Therefore the church does not need to know. It is rather odd that these people, who love to think in military terms, refuse to consider a need to know situation whereby they do not need to know.

I’ve been a watcher of Bob Larson since 1985 when he had his radio show ” Talk Back with Bob Larson'” The ” demon impersonating me” quote was said during a time where he was committing adultery and fornication and probably was visiting ” adult” stores.
Larson has remade himself numerous times so his “exorcism” crap is the latest one. As for the ” fake exorcism” show, that sounds like a mixture of a news report and a TV interview with Larson. ” Inside Edition” had an expose of Larson where a hidden camera showed him browbeating his attendees to give him their land deeds, etc, and showed a woman who was “repeatedly exorcised”. IOW a stooge. In one video two guys attending one of his ” seminars” recorded Larson demanding one of the pair’s Bibles as proof that said guy was demon-possessed. Supposedly giving Larson the Bible was the ” demon” obeying Larson.
As for the look at me” quote”, aside from that being stage hypnotism, Larson claims that he forces the ” demons” to look in his eyes as supposedly they see Jesus Christ in Larson”s eyes. Rev. Darrell Gene Motal AKA the Paranormal Preacher has a number of vids on YouTube about Larson, including an audio of Larson ” exorcising” Stanley ( Stan Lee) from the ” demon” that sounds a lot like Spiderman. Motal observed that Larson did a form of stage hypnotism and even challenged Larson to exorcise the alleged demons from him. Larson, coward that he is, called for security to escort Motal away from the premises.
The series last Halloween ” The Real Exorcist” I discussed some on my blog. Larson is anti-gay, anti-Native American and is an opportunist trying to get money and attention/fame. He has books with his name that others actually wrote and he tries to make himself an ” expert” so he can be interviewed by the media. He has two mansions in two different states and he never travels other than first class and in high level motels. Most of his “conferences” are held in motels, not churches, because his name is mud within many Christian circles.
It looks like we succeeded in shutting down Sideshow Bob’s reality series. Bob’s real exorcist web site used to say that the remaining episodes would air in early 2009. But he recently changed it. Now the TV Schedule page says you can watch Bob on Sky Angel and it no longer mentions his reality series.
